I love my closest T, but they don't ever have much for clearance! 2 pieces of the cute purple stuff. No clearance onesies, I need some for a baby shower I am hosting next month.

No new news on Trevor, I am taking that as a good sign, and appreciate all of the prayers! They are definitely working!!!

You are not alone, my family is the exact same way. I know some of them make fun of me for couponing, but also expect "better" gifts because I get such a good deal. It does bother me, but I think they are the weird ones for not using coupons. LMAO It's hard when you know you are being judged.

I think this is the biggest mistake we have all made -- bragging about and showing off our stockpiles. Yes, it's great fun, but in the meantime we have devalued our goodies. Stop talking about it.

And if there are any newbies out there -- take a note, don't show it off.

Went shopping yesterday, geez, there was no clearance anywhere. Literally, NOTHING in the kitchen or bedding/bath section. A few HBA things but other than that, I kid you not, nothing!

Got Sharpies, tape, fem. pads, Suave... I don't know what else. I did need a large amount of bleach for the pool. I used the Up & Up cleaning coupon on bleach with no problems. Cheaper to get 2 smaller jugs than one big one, but I got 6 of each (had Mom get half to divy up the coupons).

buenas tardes! going to see harry potter this evening. this time it's an amex deal so we will get a free popcorn and soda when we show our amex card. will report back hopefully tonite.

i've seen a bunch of movies in the last month and just haven't had the time to review them. i'll go over them the next few days as i recall what i've seen, now that i've somewhat caught up after being away last wk, since somebody here likes them (sorry, forgot who).

kung fu panda 2- was ok, i think it could have been cuter. i didn't see it in 3D and just like Rio, not sure you are missing anything. i actually haven't seen the first movie and they do a lot of flashbacks so not missing out on anything by not seeing the first one. some of the movie is cliched, dh thought shifu = yoda. (btw, shifu means anything from mr./sir to master to boss. you call your taxi driver shifu to be polite.) good rainy day, nothing better to do movie.

cars 2- i think i reviewed this one already but i'm not going back to look so i'll do a quicky. typical extremely well produced disney product. people actually clapped when the movie was over. has a message, that you don't abandon your friends even if they embarrass you at times. the toy story short at the beginning was extremely cute too, almost better than cars 2. not a blockbuster but for sure a must see.

i think there were 2 more movies. will have to ask dh what we saw Teehee!

my sil has had a total attitude change ever since the tv series. b4 she would give me attitude and said she never had time. but she would never turn down a coupon if i gave her one. at least she usually had a budgeted price for items and did look for sales. her problem is that she always buys way too much.

ever since sil and bil watched the show, she wants to coupon even though she bitches how much time it takes b/c she's very disorganized and bil wants a report of how much she saved when she comes home. she wants her own free stockpile just like on tv, sigh!

what i don't like is when i'm around her i have to do all the work. it's not like i can say no b/c usually we are at her 2nd home having chauffered my in-laws there (yeah, we only get invited so she doesn't have to pick up her parents herself.) and it's for my nephews or the family. i was hoping she'd give it up a long time ago b/c it was a lot of work but i've been shocked at her tenacity. she actually talked about couponing for 40+ minutes while we were standing on line to get burgers at a game.

mil appreciates any savings i can get for her. even though she can't really read english and doesn't really speak, she will use coupons i get her for products i know she buys.
