The colors are absolutely perfect for the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. We are trying to decide if we will hang it on the wall or in the window. Obviously, the window will let light shine through and be prettier but we do actually open and close that window year round to let out steam, etc. But, I think it will center in there and we will still be able to reach in and slide it up and down without moving and banging around the stained glass. Just don't know yet....

I had the weirdest thing happen last night..in my dreams I was experiencing vertigo. I was in a deep sleep and DH started to touch me, I was trying to wake myself up and I began flailing about and starting screaming for DH to help me. He jumped up to help me, I woke up but was still experiencing it. I had him help me to my feet so I could orient myself. He woke me up this morning and I had the same experience. I wonder if it's possible to be so tired that when being woken up you can experience this?
what have you cooked so far if anything and what do you like and dislike about it? for future reference. we also expect updates as you experiment.
we got 2 people moving and we want to give them some ideas on how to spruce up the place. m2c doesn't count b/c everything is new for her.
cuz you know how it is. you give the place a fresh coat of paint and then all the stuff in the room looks old and tired. so then you replace something. and then you replace something else. and b4 you know it, you've remodelled the whole place!
Is it too much to ask for a "yes I got them" PM, let alone a thank you?

if you want, you can wait till monday to call your insurance company to see if a new pair are covered b/c new is always nicer, esp when you are feeling tired and crappy.
if you do need them, i will send them priority mail mon if you let me know by 1pm, if not, tues and the latest they should arrive would be friday.

TN, will say this... along with calling insurance, I would just call the surgeon's office and ask. or maybe even the physical therapist's office and ask.
The hospital gave me my crutches, so very possible they would give you yours. The new ones have this vinyl kind of covering on both the hand rests and the pads at top. they are firm-ish (so your armpit doesn't sink in) but still very cushioned. and easy to clean with just a wipe of a wet cloth.
In addition, crutches should also be covered under a Flexible Spending Account, if you have one through your workplace.
Paper guy was 35 minutes late today and not so much as a phone call. Yes, I'm happy I have a paper guy, but where's the courtesy?
I'll call the drs. office tomorrow and ask what they are gonna do (provide crutches, etc) and get a lead on the pads. I really don't want ya'll to send me some, as I may need them next year for the other knee.
NOT DIRECTED TOWARDS ANY REGULAR IN THIS THREAD! I must think too much of folks on SD. If I take the time to look in their siggy or find their trading post and I really don't want to trade, PM them for an addy, cut out the Qs, pay with my stamp, mail the envelope.

Why do computers crash!! Trying system restore. Power went off yesterday and computer has not booted up since. Just a few months old. WM and can't find receipt and can't remember what month I bought for sure.
The heat is making me banana bonkers. I'm so tired of heat and humidity, I just may eat my own weight in popsicles and wine icees

Spent most of today at an auction. Bought a couple cubicle style, sturdy shoe storage things (for me or DD, haven't decided), a set of really nice lamps and shades (that I didn't need), a little leather ottoman (that I did need), and another damn antique clock.
The best buy of the day was a microwave for DD from a yard sale. Everything works, it looks fine, not beat up or anything and it was .....fifty cents.
