This made me LMAO because lately, every time we stop at a red light the 3 year old starts chanting, "green means go, green means go", even when we tell him that the light is red. :o

when #4 was 3 (last year) he would say that too. DH makes fun of my road rage. I am learning to be more concious of the 13 y/o watching me drive even though he wont get even a permit until he is 18

is this a cast iron griddle? never heard of a cast iron griddle with rubber/silicon dots on it.
Yes. It's the one that came with my stove. The top has three continuous cast iron grates. You remove the middle one and put the griddle in it's place. The griddle sits up above the flame and is even with the top of the other grates.

I don't know what they are actually made from but they are just little round semi-soft dots. The grates have them too. They're so they don't scratch the stove top.

Sorry the pic is so big. It's not mine, I found it online.

I just don't know where to begin with this packing bizness.
Pretend that you are packing to go to a cabin for a week and will be preparing your own meals. Got it? Now, pack everything else.

I did make some headway on the packing today. I just need to ask myself what I can live w/o for 3 wks. and pack that stuff up first, then by next week I will get all that stuff done....and then it will be on to the stuff we can't live w/o for 2, and the next week 1, etc. etc. That did help today. Got most of dd's room done. I think everything is finally off the walls and most of the "knick-knacks" packed up. We packed up a LOT in prep to get the house on the market quickly and hauled it all to my in-laws to store temporarily in their basement. When we close on the 18th dh will have that day (Th) and Friday to get our essentials all moved in and semi-unpacked, then I'll have my mom, etc. to help over the weekend and then dh will be off the entire next week (he has vaca since that was the time we were supposed to be diy'ing the roof here. Worked out very nice.

It would be much easier to pack if I wasn't constantly making and taking important phone calls from the realtor, the bank lady, etc. We are still getting final paperwork done with the sellers after the inspections came back and I'm hoping after that is all done I might catch a break. Between dealing with the kids and the phone calls during the day maybe I need to start using the evenings to pack laugh out loud

Oh well, it'll all get done.........somehow Smilie Luckily as far as being out of here it is pretty flexible since the ppl moving in are relatives! We *think* we can get everything out the day we close but have told them for sure we will have it all out by Friday. I hope it isn't so hot the days we move OMG

Why do I bother reading these poorly written puff pieces that pose as news on Yahoo?

http://financiallyfit.yahoo.com/f...=ad0035&nc

Headline that showed for me? "High Debt Loads in MD and VA!", and then "Marylanders, Virginians buried in debt". Because 300,000 users of some site posted their debt information, the company then used some formula to guesstimate the average debt load for residents of various states. States with highest debt loads? Hawaii, California, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington State, Massachusetts, Virginia. Lowest? Oklahoma, West Virginia, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas.

What did the author of this leave out? That the debt includes mortgages. Looks so omgodtheworld is ending until you think, duh, the most indebted states are there because of housing prices in those areas. *sigh* At least it wasn't a video. I loathe videos posing as news articles.
