LMAO!!!! Roll

I need to go hunt down the Kmart list too. Their 90% off finds are always fun.

my 6-year old was walking the dog in the backyard this morning and found a yellow jacket nest. She came running screaming into the house with yellow jackets all over her and the dog Faint She's okay now after some Bactine and Benedryl but I can tell the poor dog is uncomfortable Frown ugh. I hate bugs/bees/etc.

Littlest Pet Shop VIP kitten (the bigger stuffed animal ones), reg price $14.99, marked $3.99, scanned $1.99.

Star Wars walkie-talkies

Morning, everyone! Enjoying my second cup of coffee, doing nothing when I should be doing everything. laugh out loud

Hubby took our son's bed apart and its now sitting out by the curb. Ever wonder what's lurking under your 5yo son's bed?! *That* is what I must face next. Faint The awesome news is we go tonight to pick up his "new-to-us" bed. :yay: I'm a little nervous because its a loft bed, but ecstatic because it comes with its own dresser. Which means his dresser can be passed on to his little sister and free up so much more space for everyone. But ... I need to get his room straightened out first.

So ... off I go!!

The last time I was given this line of "we really don't have that much to move" it slowly metamorphosed into "well I really don't have much to move, it's just all your junk, your books, your clothes, your dishes and kitchen stuff, blah, blah, blah...." Ranting
.....
oh and guess how big a truck we needed to pack all the stuff that we supposedly didn't have to move? a 25-footer. the largest truck you can drive without a truck license.
And you didn't offer to get rid of all that cooking stuff? Silly girl.

You have to remember we live north of nowhere and our last town was even worse. Finding a U-Haul or Ryder, etc. isn't easy and if you do you have to order it waayyyy ahead or there won't be one for 100+ miles and then you have to return it to the far away land.

So, we had a nice big truck lined up from a private rental place. We went to pick it up the morning we were morning. Truck wouldn't start. Guy couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start because he had checked everything and started it either that morning or the night before. He was profusely apologetic, but that wasn't gonna move our stuff. DH pointed to another truck and said, "what about that one, I'll take that one". Dude was soo nice, but again, apologetic. He would be happy to let us have it, but you have to be licensed for air brakes. DH grabbed his wallet and said, "then, I guess we're good to go".

He had to get a DCL for the railroad (he's not a truck drive) at one time and he got the air brake endorsement then too. So, in the end, we got a bigger truck that held more crap and the cab was nicer too -- and had air.

I don't think the guy really wanted to rent that truck either and figured the air brakes would prevent it so it was safe to offer.laugh out loud I love it when a plan comes together... especially after something goes awry.
