Prayer Request Thread.

I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I heart my Papaw!

Pray Comfort I hope that today is a better day.
I go back to the dr. today, so maybe he can help me figure out why I seem to be stepping backwards.

haha! Thanks, sweetie, but he's a really good dr. With a great sense of humor. He put me on some antibiotics and refilled my pain med. I'm feeling a little better this evening. Best thing is no more daily dr. visits. I don't have to go back for a week! bounce

Many of you know that I've been a caregiver for a long time for my father-in-law. It has been a long road with him; his medical issues had been numerous. At this time I would like to ask for prayers for my husband, brother-in-law and the rest of this family; as my FIL passed away here at our house this morning; under our guiding, healing care along with hospice helping us out with his passing peacefully.

Prayers to all of his family and major kudos to you for the huge sacrifices and endless efforts you gave for all this time in providing his care. Even if you didn't always get shown much appreciation I'm sure you made the final chapter in his life far better than it might have been otherwise.

Also a word of appreciation for hospice workers everywhere who do an amazing and tough job. I don't know how they continue to do what they do.

Thank you Bunny for your kind words. It has been an arduous journey, but as I look back on it now; it was well worth it considering how it was my husband's father and all that I was able to do for this family. I hope some day I get the same consideration from my only son. His final chapter in life was filled with family surrounding him, love and people talking to him telling him how much he meant to them. He went very peacefully and, yes, the hospice workers were very wonderful with us, working us through all of this.

I will keep y'all in my prayers! Your family has been down a long road with his illness and I know they were very blessed to have had you as his main caregiver. Many people would have just thrown him in a home and visited once a week. May we all be fortunate that someone cares for us with the devotion you showed to your FIL.

I too commend Hospice. I can't imagine the end of life without their care and support.

That's so young! I hope that his family and friends can make sense of his early passing.
