I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

Ok, for those you you who don't know, I know some of you do, but I haven't been on SD in awhile so.... 2 weeks ago my husband had a massive heart attack or it might have been Sudden Cardiac Arrest. The EMT said it was a heart attack first, but then said it could be SCA since he collapsed suddenly and they were never able to get his heart started again...whichever it doesn't matter. They were NEVER able to get his heart started again!

... So 2 weeks and 11 hours ago I lost my best friend. I am heartbroken, my world is over. My son lost his father. 18 wonderful years of marriage & 20 years together. I don't like to ask for things, but my life is a mess right now & I could use the prayers. Sadwalk

Comfort I am so sorry for your loss daisee. Perhaps a grief support group could help you ease the heavy burden of your husbands sudden loss.

It's lasted on and off (mostly on) for most of my entire life. As for seeing my doctor, he'd recommend I go to some psychiatrist where the of the four visits I went to, three of them were only to say, 'the test results aren't in yet, come again for your next appointment' and still bill medicaid for the whole visit.

Do you have an EAP where you work? I have seen a counselor through is and it was really helpful. Even if you don't, counseling might be of more help than a psychiatrist. PM me if you'd like to talk. I've battled depression for years, or so I thought. It was actually that coupled with anxiety. A change in meds helped immensely.
