Prayer Request Thread.

I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I heart my Papaw!

SIL spent an additional 5 days in the hospital (not counting the days spent there after the birth), she's out and recovering slowly.

Thought this was worth a shot. I have had anxiety problems for over 5 years now, almost 6! While it has gotten better, it still keeps me from doing much of anything. I am scared to go anywhere. One attack while away from the home and I stay indoors for months at a time. I guess I am just asking for people to prayer for me that it goes away once and for all so I can enjoy life again. Thanks.

Please keep my friend in your prayers. She's 33 and just found out that age has stage 3 cervical cancer and it has spread to her uterus. She's a single mother and has a long road ahead of her.

Gradually increasing your exposure to what upsets you. Usually with a lot of help and breathing exercises. It was explained to me not that long ago that there are several responses to stressful stimuli and not just fight or flight. Freeze/passive reaction was another but there were more. Not sure if that's learned or innate. Maybe both?

I'm learning that the more I go - just chipping away at super scary things - the easier it becomes and then I'm wondering why I was so petrified in the first place.

I wouldn't know where to begin because mine doesn't always seem to be a response to any particular thing. Sometimes, but more often than not there is no rhyme or reason.

But don't you think there always is? Panic attacks are unreasonable fear and apprehension. Scratchchin Dunno.

I know it's kinda too late but my sister's Gloria passed way on the 11th of this month. She was only 42 years old and she's a great person. She had a blood clot in the brain and the surgeries didn't help it. She left a wonderful husband and 3 great kids! She's the oldest one out of 10 children.

I love you Gloria!

Never too late for prayer. So sad to have passed so young! I'm sure you miss her very much. Prayers for you.

Just lost my second family member in a less than a year and a half. My Aunt passed away suddenly today (barely in her 50s).

Any prayers for my family and I would be appreciated. Thanks.
