I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!
Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.
Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

Another thing...Elizabeth is having her heart set on staying down here (living with either her best friend who's family has already said yes or my parents) so she can stay in her school. It's her last 2 years. She's in a magnet school that's one of the top schools in the state and she loves it and does so well in it. There are no schools comparable at all where we are moving. I'm torn because I understand her wanting to stay here but at the same time I can't imagine leaving her here. If it was just her saying "No I don't wanna leave my friends" I'd feel bad but be like "Well suck it up, we're moving" but the school thing is hard. So if anyone could say prayers/good thoughts that we can figure out the best decision with that, I'd appreciate it.
He had been doing better, they moved him out of the hospital into a nursing home this week. They were changing some catheter that was in his gallbladder. They left the room to go get a new catheter and when they came back he was slumped over and had passed away. Please pray for my dad. He's devastated, they were so so close.

Just trying not to think. (in before anyone makes a joke, yeah I know...Autumn doesn't think, haha, lol)

While that may not be the ideal way to go it at least sounds like it happened quickly. When my time comes I hope it happens similar to that.

Better to think of the memories we get to keep rather than what we have lost.
Thanks Iaaaiws
And he and I were "Honda buddies". Every time I'd go up there or talk to him he'd say "So do you still have that Honda?" (I've had it since 1999) and I'd say "Yep, I sure do." and then he'd ask if I'd had the timing belt and stuff replaced. Even when he was in the hospital last month and he was delirious I said to him "Hey Grandpa...I still have my Honda." and he'd say, even when mostly out of it "Yooooou suuuuuure dooooo." He was my buddy. I miss him.
I think it was a good way to die though, I mean if you have to die. My grandma, the love of his life, hardly spent a day apart and best friends...she was put in a nursing home about 2 months ago. He emailed and said that was the hardest day of his life. She has Alzheimer and has been falling a lot lately, would fight him about taking pills and stuff. They have always had what I hope my marriage is like. He saw her two days ago...the first time since all this stuff happened. I don't know if he was just waiting to see her before he died. They have always been as close as anyone I've ever known. I'm glad he got to see her.
Thanks, both of you
My thoughts and condolences to you and your family!

And sometime after my last post about memories it popped into my mind how appropriate it was to mention memories in a post to you. Even though it has been a long time since I have been able to listen to it you know my favorite memory associated with you will always be you singing "Memory".

We both have Hondas. We both frequent this place. We live in relative proximity of each other...
Are we long lost siblings?
Oh wait. I've never been bitten by a brown recluse spider. I don't have an unnatural attraction to John Stamos. So, no.
Thank goodness. Had me scared there for a minute.
