I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.
Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I wish we could allow gofundme links but if we allow someone to post one, even someone we do trust, it could just open up a can of worms for everyone else we don't know and trust to post them too.

Just heard the same diagnosis for my nephew less than an hour ago and remembered that I'd read your post earlier.

My daughter will celebrate 11 years of remission, from Stage IV Hodgkins lymphoma, next month!

Surgery went well. The port was put in and he had some chemo via his spine. He will have another dose of chemotherapy this morning. He is a bit sore but in good spirits.
The only thing he was thinking about was a Subway Sandwich.
He told me:
"Next time we come up for spinal taps there is a subway if you go straight instead of getting on the highway."
And to be sure he got his sandwich he followed up with:
"And if you forget there is also one exit 20 then take a right."
I love my boy!
We will have a visiting nurse coming in several times a week to give him chemo via his port, chemo pills by mouth everyday and then back to the hospital next week for chemo via his spine.
