Oh yeah, I still have to babysit the client today. I'll be doing that yard work Saturday morning, while it's still cool enough. We had a brutal storm tear through Charlotte yesterday afternoon about 5:30. Thankfully, it was small, area-wise. It did cool things down a bit last night. I wouldn't mind a long hot shower so much, if I didn't come out of it still sweating. Frown

The only reason I can guesstimate the exercise necessary for that donut hole is because I looked up a banana the other day. An average banana has about 120 calories, and they said it would take about 40-45 minutes walking to work that off. Maybe I just shouldn't eat anything for several days, and see how that feels? Wink
if something is natural, unprocessed, and provides nutrition to my body, I'm not really concerned about fat/cals. For example, my mom always cringes when I eat avocado. I'm like MOM
avocado is good fat, and your body needs some good fat to perform necessary functions. I'd take a healthy mono or polyunsaturated fat from nature any day over some fat free processed chemical laden whatever that manufacturers call "food"

karaoke tonight Whee

i'm competing for a trip to Vegas, so i gotta pick something that i can totally rock out.

tonight's choices are Def Leppard's "Photograph" and Billy Idol's "White Wedding" - both songs sound pretty awesome with a girl singing them.

what do you guys think?

oh, i meant to post a couple pics from last week's karaoke....stand by

If those dudes want you to sing Adele, I have to figure White Wedding would be more up your alley.

I've done White Wedding a hundred times because it's on Rock Band. I haven't actually tried to do Photograph yet, but last night I heard the version that Def Leppard did with Taylor Swift, and the parts she sang sounded great and definitely sounded like I could do it. But I'll try it out when I get home, it might be a little out of my range in parts.

I think she's got some weight on her, but she's beautiful IMO, and her voice is just amazing.

i think she's probably a size 12 or 14, so that's barely plus-size

is the label really important?

not at all
I just wonder

I guess that shows that how a person dresses sometimes can make their body really look different

yeah whoever chooses her clothes does a fabulous job, because it's hard to make a curvy woman not look like a heifer sometimes in the stuff they're expected to wear Roll
