I make my best friend friend people if I want to FB snoop them

then I dont have to be their RL FB friend

for example, we went to lunch w some friends. One just bought the business he worked @ with some partners, sons of the old owner. One of the sons is kind of hot and smart but quiet and I think he may be single, an engineer, went to Penn for his Masters, just my type Wink , not a network engineer, structural, and so I told her to friend him on FB. She's awaitng a response. He was FB friends w an ex so I knew he was on there but his page is all private.

So later I had a guy who is in the middle of a deal w the City. He stopped in we chatted etc. There is chemistry there. So I decided to FB stalk him and we have some common friends. Well fark I think he just FB stalked me and sent a friend request. I dont want to be his friend I just want to secretly stalk him.
God people are so farked up
and by people I mean me? laugh out loud

What's really messed up is that it's totally normal to want to do that kind of stuff. You just have to make sure you don't obsess and make it unhealthy (which it sounds like you don't.)

Oh boy, you use Firefox and yet you're still infected? Hrmmmmm.... let me do some digging. Do you remember what smiley/emoticon site it was? Was it SmileyCentral, perhaps?

Well, the stupid website it tries to get you to visit is no longer valid. I'd guess they figured out it was serving spam and shut it down. Try shutting down all your browser windows and tabs, and then starting Firefox while holding down the left shift key. It should tell you it's running in safe mode. Don't check anything, just tell it to continue. Post a message here, and let's see if it's got the emoticons message appended to it.

If it isn't one of the 5 sd smileys I know, I don't bother.
