Timberland 2012 Sundance Film Festival Girlfriend Getaway Sweepstakes (Facebook; 21+; photo & short essay) - 11/9/11

The photo must not contain material that: (1) is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous; (2) promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and (3) is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or district where the video is created. By submitting an entry, entrant agrees to the foregoing terms. For all submissions, Timberland shall have the right to edit, adapt and publish any or all of a photo, and may use it in any media without attribution or compensation to the entrant, his/her successors or assigns, or any other entity

Winner Selection: This phase of the Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM EST November 10, 2011 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on November 16, 2011.

A. Top Ten Photos: The top ten (10) photos receiving the most public votes from all eligible entries received (the "Top Ten") will each win a $150 Timberland® gift card redeemable at Timberland Specialty Stores, Timberland Factory Stores and online at www.timberland.com. The public is allowed one vote per photo per Facebook session (a session is considered to be the period of time between a log-in and log-off on Facebook).

B. Grand Prize Winner: One (1) winner will be selected by qualified judges, as chosen by Timberland in its sole discretion, from the Top Ten. The judging is based on the following criteria: fifty percent (50%) creativity and originality and fifty percent (50%) strength of message.

Any attempt to manipulate, circumvent or violate the rules for the public voting will result in the disqualification of the related photo(s). In addition, Timberland reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner, taking into account the public voting portion of the judging, if the related photo is deemed to be inappropriate in the sole discretion of Timberland.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND AWARD OF PRIZE: The winners will be notified within approximately ten (10) days of the end of Phase 2. The prizes will only be awarded by Timberland upon verification of potential winners and final approval by Timberland. The potential winners will receive notification that they have won and will have forty eight (48) hours from receipt of winning notification to confirm that the notification has been received. If a potential winner of a prize cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to claim the prize; if the prize notification is returned undeliverable; or if a potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these official rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner. After confirming notification receipt, the potential Grand Prize winner will be sent via United States Postal Mail and/or overnight mail an affidavit of eligibility, a compliance and publicity form, a liability release form, W-9 form and a travel companion release form to be completed by the travel companion, if applicable. These forms must be completed, signed, notarized and returned to Timberland within five (5) days. The potential Grand Prize winner then, and only then, becomes the "Grand Prize winner." If the potential winner of the Grand Prize cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to return the completed and executed documents specified above; fails to claim the prize; if the prize notification is returned undeliverable; or if the potential Grand Prize winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit the prize and the prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner as defined above.
