So I got an oral-b vitality rechargeable electric toothbrush yesterday. It started with a bit of charge and worked right out of the box but with 1 use it was completely depleted and dead. I put it in the charger but after 16 hours it was still dead. I tried my husband's charger and a different wall socket but it is still dead. Could that be because I ran it all the way down in its first use? Do batteries work that way? >_>

^ Yeah cause even in these instructions it recommends "discharging the handle with regular use" once every 6 months to maintain maximum batter capacity. Urgh, how annoying, I didn't drop it or anything, how can it be broken after 1 day?
Well whatever I'll see if it works by tomorrow and if it is broken buy a new one at CVS next week. Smilie

How is everyone finding the return process through the stores with their online purchases? Mine went pretty smoothly, or so I though, until one item wasn't showing up returned, when everything else was processed. I checked over my receipts from the VS store and noticed that they scanned 1 item twice, and didn't scan the item that wasn't showing, and also another item that did show on the receipt, they neglected to process a return for until I contacted them.

When I called they said to give them a couple days. I never heard back so I called and they were really nice about crediting it back, no problem. But make sure you tally up everything so you know what you should be getting, and check the receipt the store gives you before you walk out.

That being said, I got back about $80 in gift cards (no stupid mc's bounce)

Overall I am glad to have the in-store return option as I won't be tempted to stockpile loads of crap in a box waiting on a free return label!

If they still do send them by email, what address does it come from (so I can check my spam)? If they do send them, and I can't find it, would it do me any good to call them and ask for one? TIA.

Ladies have been receiving them this calendar year. I am not sure when was the latest month reported. If VS was going to stop, you'd think they would finish the calendar year.

the email address the bday codes are sent from is: [email protected].
my birthday is this month, and i received all of my email codes on nov 4th. no bday catalog code though. i don't think it would help to call and ask for an email one, but i'm not 100% positive. never tried...

i had one girl scan the return label that was included with the shipment order summary! then i went back and told her she scanned the wrong one and if she could give me the correct tracking #.
she said she was "pretty sure" that she scanned their label behind the counter and not mine. then i showed her how the return tracking matched the one on my order summary and she repeated that she was "positive" she scanned theirs and not mine but that she'd write down the tracking number down for me WHICH didn't even match the tracking number on the printed receipt i was given.

i don't get what is so wrong in admitting you made a mistake. she kept insinuating that I was wrong. i told her i wanted the correct tracking # in case my package got lost in the mail. w/o the right tracking number, if my package were to be lost then my return wouldn't be credited back to me. and i am pretty sure i'd have a hard time arguing with customer service over this one. shake head
