azn, you should definitely see a doctor. I go as little as possible myself, but heart problems aren't something to mess around with. Even young people die from heart problems they had no idea they had. We want to keep you around.

And I will go see a doctor the next time this happens again for an extended amount of days. You're right - young people may have heart conditions that they're not aware of. Or any condition.

Sidenote: SO is still talking about those boots. He doesn't like the fur ones either...but he does not loathe them. He thinks he knows everything b/c shoes are his business.

Last time this happened was last month and it lasted 4 or so days. This usually doesn't happen to me, but for some freak reason, I feel that this is becoming more common. I would breathe in and out deeply, but mostly to no advil because the increased heart pump would happen right between in one of my breathing exercises.
I'm under a lot of stress at work and work in a stressed mood at home because I have a test I am studying for. I'm hoping this is the reason. As I drove to work today, I felt a tightening in my chest and I'm trying to relax. I try to not think about work, either when I'm at home. I generally eat very healthy. Little to no processed foods and liquids. I don't really eat out. So I don't think it's high cholesterol.
I really can't figure out the reason. Any experiences or scientific knowledge?
