Because if she did indeed scan the barcode that came on your invoice, I'm pretty sure you will be charged for the return shipping. That's the whole point of scanning the store's barcode...so the shipping will be free. Just watch your CC statement closely to see if the return shipping was deducted from your refund or not.

It happened to mine too. I had no idea where. It's crazy how people are these days. Whenever I get my new car, I'm parking far away just to avoid this.

i was afraid that would happen but it didn't. thank goodness the package wasn't lost. shake head

Send me the sleepwear -- it's pajama day tomorrow -- I don't have one single set of matching pj's. I just have bottoms. But at least I can wear my favorite VS robe from years past. Wish they still made them so I could get another.

You're welcome! The only thing the SA should be scanning from your invoice is the small barcode at the top. To be safe, you could even rip the return label & barcode off the invoice before you bring it in to do the return because it really isn't needed for anything.

Wow, I didn't even know VS started taking clothing returns to ship back in store!

Have you girls been taking in old purchases or just newer ones? If you return old ones do you get merchandise cards in the mail?

And can merchandise credits,and the new cards be used to buy giftcards? I have old MCs I never used because I usually buy online.

i used to do that prior when they were testing this program at select locations! but i became accustomed to the SA's knowing what they were supposed to do and let it slip laugh out loud
will DEFINITELY have to toss and throw away that label!

you can't directly use merch credits (or even gift cards) to buy gift cards but if you still do get a merch credit instead of a GC, then you could indirectly transfer it to a GC by purchasing an item less than the merch credit value.

You can send those in. I used to take them to the store and buy something cheap. They'll put the rest on a gift card.
