I feel the same way sometimes. It's getting to be Christmas so there will be tons of deals hopefully!

We may be moving to Chicago. Don't want to get my hopes up yet. Dh's boss's boss mentioned it last night.
I hope you're able to move to Chicago. You'll LOVE it. I'm up there a lot and love it (my entire family lives within 5 miles). If you guys have any questions, let me know, since I was born and raised there. Of course, if you move up there, I'll be more than happy to give you my tips on shopping Smilie

Chicago shopping is so much better than MN. I had a conference in Chicago Thursday-Friday and stayed with my parents through the weekend. All I did was shop...such good runway TJ Maxx, good VS stores (with Chicago clothes!), a fantastic outlet mall and NORDSTROM, and lots of Nordstrom Racks.

In Minneapolis, I have one Runway TJ Maxx, Two Nordstrom Racks (one is far away and they're both cruddy), and only one Nordstrom at MOA. Our outlet mall also sucks. It totally bums me out. However, it is nice not to pay sales tax on clothes in MN, where in West Loop, it's like 11.5%

Such a tradeoff. I want good shopping AND no sales tax Smilie

i know we may have talked about htis already, but anyone have any good reviews for a makeup train case? I will be moving in a few months and need to have a big but good one that can travel. the only one i have is over 15 years old if you can believe it! It's purple and from caboodles! It's too small however. I was looking on Sephora's website, they have one for $75 not sure if its worth it?! any suggestions? TIA!
I have the metro train case [sephora.com], I think I bought back in 2008 or something. It's definitely useful - I've used it to cart around (part of!) my makeup over the last 3 years while moving from apt to apt to home during the summer. I like the little organizer things in it too. My only minor complaint, and this might be true for most traincases, is that the organizer trays don't slide out far enough (that is, the top one slight covers the second one, etc, so sometimes it can be hard to get something from the second tray out). Other than that though, I'd definitely recommend it if you need a traincase Smilie

some parts of thailand and vietnam are flooded and have been for quite some time, and many of these regions are dirt poor already. all this weather related carnage is so heartbreaking.

Have any of you ladies tried the "Dream tees" or the "kiss tees"? Are those thinner or clingier than daily tees?

VS is confusing me with all the different kinds of t-shirts. I miss the days when daily and ultimate were the only kinds.laugh out loud

Me too! I liked the daily tee because it was actually thick in material, keeping me warm! With all these tees, I am purchasing them less. Which is good for my wallet! Smilie
