Yes, you can do a gift return back to VSD. Make sure you cut off the tags and pick something that VSD would have on the site. I'd also write some item numbers down just so you can match it up, incase. I don't see why they would print different item numbers on the tags, but you can never be too sure!

isn't it easier to do a return without receipt at a different VS. you would even be able to do it same day. i know they pull your license but i think it's easier than worrying about VSD.
