Because I haven't been around much lately and I always over commit myself. For example: I still need to put together thank-yous from my Bday this past summer, and baby / wedding congrats for friends. I make them by hand so it takes a while. I also haven't finished my thank yous from our wedding... 4 .... years ... ago Faint . I'm just trying to get this crazy train going in the right direction Grin

Ohmygosh, I haven't sent out my thank you notes yet even though they have been done for 6 months. My husband and I are in a standoff over them because I want him to help with them and he won't even help me address them. Embarrassment we are so childish but stubborn.

Uggh starbucks eggnog latte tastes gross, it just tastes like coffee with lots of sweetened condensed milk in it. It doesn't taste anything like eggnog to me. Q_Q

i remember the first time i tried one i loved it.

... unfortunately, this was in london, and then when i got back home, i tried it again and it was disgusting. haven't had one since. (that was 11 yrs ago) i guess they have better tasting eggnog over there...

We're years late for a number of excuses...err... I mean "reasons". The first being that they're not ordinary TUs- they not only have a pic of DH and I on the cover, we also had the great idea to take a cute/funny picture with each gift to make it more personal.Facepalm DH was traveling for months at a time for work, so that was stupid and we don't know where we left off.

My advice for the soon-to-be newlyweds: KEEP IT SIMPLE! People will still appreciate it and just want to know you got their gift at all. I still get grief from my mom about it (she thinks that's why some relatives have stopped talking to her, but I think it's b/c she told them that "in CA, we call that tattoo a tramp stamp!", among other gems Embarrassment)

Oh and sucks about the plugs, but at least now you know what to check next time bulb Oh... and about your standoff... what if you had him set up a spreadsheet with the addresses to be printed on the envelopes? If it involves a computer, maybe it would feel like less work for him? IDK
