Awww, I'm sorry! I will tell you - I FINALLY gave up on men and swore them off. Literally - I wanted a FWB and even told my hubby that. I was a ROYAL pain in the ass for him. He wouldn't back off though and kept proving he wasn't like everyone else - now we have an amazing relationship and a great trust.

I ask him why he put up with me in the beginning. His response was, "I saw potential." laugh out loud

Don't lose hope girl. I know everyone says that - but we end up where we are supposed to be Smilie

I'll try to stay hopeful.hug

I think I'm doomed to be single forever.laugh out loud There are no broad shoulders and adorable babies in my crystal ball. It sucks during the holidays because while I love shopping and gifts I've pretty much always been the girl who wished for love. It can hit me pretty hard in the winter when I could use someone to cuddle.laugh out loud I'm alright though. I have a family that I'm grateful for.
I'm the same way, dear hug I started reading romances (accidently! it was my mom's loll) when I was in fourth grade Embarrassment , and I've dreamed about finding the right person since...which is starting to kinda suck now cuz I'm almost 26, and in our community, if a girl isn't married by like 27-28, she's "on the shelf" and there's not exactly a ton of Malayalee Catholics in the area Frown I def believe the right person is out there...I just wish he'd move his *** a little faster and show up! LMAO

I read romance novels too.laugh out loud I don't know what I believe anymore. I don't know many people who are married so no one's really judging me for it but I'm sure they have some opinions on my lack of dates.laugh out loud I hope you find your guy. Smilie

Thanks Porda and Azn for wishes. Test went well. We will see when I get grades.

One of our professor just posted grades and I got an A Whee

To all single girls, I can bet you all are awesome enough to lure any nice guy. If you haven't found right guy yet it is only because those guys you met were not perfectly "right" for you. Things finally fall into right places and every story has happy ending Smilie
Azn is a nice example for you all- she was single and in your situation a year or two ago and now look at us voting to make his BF win contest and watching pic of nice gifts his DBF sends him on FB and she is now searching for right ring Smilie Whee !!! Fairytales do Happen

I decided to stay single too when I was 24. And now happily married with the guy I love, despite all those things I said yesterday Teehee he is really nice nod and I love my life more than ever now Smilie

Sheena, I know how you are feeling sweetie hug Indian traditions are little stressful but my cousin who got married a week ago in India is 29. Things are changing back in Home country faster than we change our mentality here. Do not worry you will find the right guy too.

Congrats liggie! To be honest, I'm not really in a rush to get married - I'd rather take my time and find the right one than rush into it because it's the "expected thing." However, what's starting to freak me out a bit is that the parents want me to join some of those Indian online matrimonial sites...my dad asked me to fill out two of the forms 2-3 weeks ago, and I've been putting it off haha...seriously how am I supposed to answer "describe your expectations of the guy"?! The usu thing you see on those sites is "looking for tall, good-looking, fair-complexioned god-fearing doctor" LMAO I remember being younger and laughing over the ridiculousness of some of the ads with my sister and cousins...but now that I might have to "advertise" ( vomit ), it's not so funny shake head

look around prince charming, come out, come out, wherever you are! Teehee

I know exactly how you are feeling I have gone thru it all laugh out loud may be give it a try so parents won't think that you are not listening to them. I think the idea is to get a guy of similar background as yours so you will have less things to get adjusted to in future. Which is ok but are other Catholics ok with your parents ? because your choice is very limited and HTF.

He will come out soon just as fairy tale- when you least expect it it will happen.

Offtopic from fairy tales - anyone want to lend SRC Teehee i will give you mine when i get it hopefully by friday/saturday Smilie
