Iagree with my first, i bought a ton of the pricey avent, only to find out baby doesn't like. wasted my money. turned out he likes the cheap gerber bottles.

for this one, i started with playtex drop-ins because there's less washing, and they have a nice milk storage system.

My face, neck, & tummy are the first places I gain & the last I lose. Don't you hate that? I wouldn't even worry about my weight, if it weren't for my face & neck. The fact that I drink a 2 liter of Diet Pepsi a day, & retain so much fluid doesn't help. Embarrassment If only I could make myself drink more water. Facepalm

I was going to suggest a swing too. We would have never made it through DS's colic, if it weren't for his swing. I bought my niece one when she had her baby, & she said it's the thing she used the most. My nephew's baby using the one I bought him a lot too. It comforts them, & calms them down. It was truly a lifesaver for us.

Bleh. Speaking of issues getting packages, I'm getting so frustrated with the woman in the main office of my apartment building. When packages come in, she has to sort through them and then stick notices in the mailboxes of people who received packages. It used to take a couple hours or less, but they fired the people who used to work here and the new woman takes a day or more Frown To make matters worse, she keeps leaving early (sometimes an hour or more early) and last Friday she didn't show up at all. So lately it takes me an extra few days to get my orders. It's so frustrating knowing that they're right downstairs at the office, but I can't get them. All the packages that were delivered last Wednesday through Friday, I didn't get until yesterday evening. And the packages that were delivered yesterday and today I won't be able to get until at least tomorrow. Thank goodness all my Christmas presents have already arrived. Now I'm just waiting for Sephora orders and my SS gift. Frown

EDIT: Just wanted to add for my SS that if my package is delivered and you don't see me post anything for a few days, it's not because I hate my gift laugh out loud It's because I probably haven't been able to get it from the office.

That would make me Completely Enraged Mad Can you talk to management about it? I used to live in a place with a front desk but they had no issues with the package system... not that complicated lol

A few years ago, I started adding water to juice. Like 90% juice, 10% water. Then I gradually increased the percentage of water until I was drinking just water. Now I don't drink juice or soda at all. Just an idea to work your way to water hug

hey alvsy, sorry t o hear DS has pink eye -- is he getting polymyxin drops?? i saw a bunch of kids with the same symptoms today.. it's taht time of year.. just remember to encourage good hand washing so he doesn't spread from eye to eye! hope he feels better in time for santa Smilie hug

also, odd thing but all of my perfume sets shipped and I was sent an egc as well.. i was shocked to see it.. so check your emails.. i think two of mine were backordered and that's probably what caused the confusion. can't wait to cash that sucker in!

It says ofloxacin on the package.

How long will it take to know if I'm going to get it. The pharmacist said after 24 hrs in the meds he shouldn't be contagious.

Good idea! Unfortunately, I'd have to start drinking juice first. Embarrassment I drink Diet Pepsi & more Diet Pepsi. I know I need to do better. I have starting eating much healthier. I just can't seem to make myself give up Diet Pepsi or drink anything else. Strange as it is, I do like water with apples. That's the only way I can drink it w/o getting nauseated. Dontknow I've started eating more apples, just to drink a bit of water. The small amount I drink compared to the amount of Diet Pepsi probably doesn't help. I figure it can't hurt.

I think I will. It's been a lot worse lately than usual, so I'm hoping it's just because it's the holidays and there's lots of packages/things going on. If things don't get better at the start of next year, I'll definitely do something about it.

So, I received one of my VS orders today and inside was someone else's order Mad, for some person from NJ and with a way cheaper item inside. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but of course when I called the item was oos already. They are refunding me and I need to take the wrong order to VS store. Didn't offer me any kind of discount or anything for inconvenience. vomit I guess that's how they treat customers who placed about 30 orders in last 20 days. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I almost want to email and tell them how dissapointing this is...

That is a great price for that travel system! The hospital won't let you leave the hospital without a car seat.

You will probably want a package of pads at home. Also stock up on groceries. You might be too exhausted to leave the house for a week or two.

The first two weeks of breastfeeding was painful for me, my nipples cracked and bled with both children. After two weeks it was much easier. Lanolin cream is helpful with that. Also the Lanolin breast pads are really nice. Don't buy the cheap ones until after breastfeeding is established. I forget how early they say you can give the baby a bottle but don't wait till the last week. I did with my first child because I was scare of the whole "nipple confusion" and then my daughter refused to take a bottle. I had to bring her to daycare and they called me saying she wouldn't drink. So I had to drive there and breast feed her and then go back to work!

Make sure you bring comfy pregnancy pants for the ride home from the hospital. you will still have the pregnancy belly and your belly will be sore.
