Too hard to say goodbye to such dear friends? IDK, I have some bras from SAS 2 years ago... I think I'm too lazy to try to find the original order invoice in my stack. (not trusting a Gift return to a 2 year old item). We can make a pact to get our returns out by the end of January... are you in?
I am in nod I have invoices to find out too and we moved to new apt in between so it will be even harder to find those EEK!

yeah, me too - lost invoices is sorta what's keeping me from sending back. but sometimes when i've exhausted all my search options i just look it up in my email, and fill out a manual form.

Well some of these returns were form 2008, so I guess the tax was more than and now they return it at the current tax rate. That is what I get for not returning sooner. Just hated to pay return shipping.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is slack in returning items to VS. I'm too lazy to get it all together, but really need to. Embarrassment I wish you were all closer to me. I could put happiness in your home, & give you all the big boxes you need. My DH still hasn't put away his Christmas gifts, so we have boxes everywhere. DS's boxes are empty, but he hasn't taken them to be recycled yet. Annoyed

I forgot to request free gift wrap at Origins. Doh I hate it, when I do that. Thanks for reminding us Porda. I may have to place another order. The boxes make great gift boxes for candles or other smaller, heavy items.

I finally just started doing it, only pain is they give you mc/gc and a separate one for each order returned. Wouldn't it be easier just to combine them all and send one mc/gc.

Oooooh. Interesting, I had never thought of that Scratchhead . It looks so stupid on my 1-item order returns- they could clearly just return the entire amount to me, but instead recalculate at the new tax rate (system probably automatically does that). Lame. Thanks for the insight Smilie

OMG Hoard those things! Someone should Fleabay giant boxes under the title "Stick it to VS return boxes". I'm not sure yours would be big enough. Remember the last box I sent you with stuff for your DS's ex-GF? That's only approaching the size I would need. Dresses, jackets, ginormous bras... so bulky, ugh Facepalm

I guess the problem is they can't change it to a rate from years ago. I guess it is a chance we take, just glad they take returns older than 90 days.

Why don't you girls just return to the store. That is what I do so I don't have to pay ship back. I have had no problems so far as them getting there and showing up in the system.

I did not plan on returning these items, just realized I really don't need/want them or I stored them for a gift and the person I got them for is a smaller size now. So I think from now on I have a 30- 60 day return it by policy at the latest because I should know by then if I really want it or if my dd's really want it.

I think I was buying to much and now I have stopped unless it is freeWink

Yes, that is true. Their return policy is also the reason I keep coming back.

Well... a few have had problems and I haven't had a problem returning by mail (always get the correct price and so on), so I'm afraid to fix that which isn't broken. I think I'll slowly change over to the new system... but my next return could be around $1k. I feel like I have too much to loose to try out the new system right now.
