will you be returning in store? they may take the printed - usually they require the invoice tho. but they're usually pretty nice i think.

if you're exchanging in store you shouldn't need anything.

for online returns, i have no clue. never done one.

Thanks girls. I'll send him with the online order print out, & CC info. Hopefully, one will work. Unfortunately, they're probably sold out of the coat in stores. I bought it in Oct. He'll exchange it, if they happen to have it. It's still the same price on line, so he may get lucky.

i've never done an online return w/o receipt, but i did one w/ the receipt. they scan the barcode on the packing slip then the items...
i think if you bring a print out email w/ the order details, they can probably manually type in the info. at worst, they may give you store credit? Smilie
Thanks for the info. I wish we could find the receipt. Knowing him it was probably thrown away. shake head Store credit would be great, if it could be used online to reorder the jacket in the smaller size. It probably can't though. Anybody know?

You can use the store credits online. I think they can look up all cc's now. Not 100% sure. He may need the actual card. Not sure about that either. You may can call cs and see what they say since you have the order info.

they actually swipe the CC when they look up the item, so he definitely needs the card that paid for the order

yes, you'd def get store credit if he just brings it in without receipt. but he may be lucky to find it in store (you never know).

You girls are great! Thanks so much for the help. hug I don't remember if I used my DH's or my CC. When DH gets in, we can send him with both, just in case. Store credit will be fine, since he can use it online. He'd like to replace the coat with a smaller one anyway.

If you got the kohls cash make sure to tell him to get a mercy credit. Otherwise they deduct it from the return.

Merch sorry, i hate the iPad sometimes.

laugh out loud On the Ellen show, she has a segment with messages that were changed on phones, etc. It is hysterical. One was a mom telling her adult daughter that she was so happy to get to Disney with her hubby. The phone translated it to divorce and the daughter started freaking out. Another one was a girl talking to her date saying how she was getting new boots for their date that evening and had it translated into new boobs. Although he said it was not necessary, i think he was excited. My daughter was once meeting a friend in NYC and was asking where he was and he replied that he was in the cab right now, and it was translated to in the can.

That so funny!

There's a whole site out there dedicated to this. I think it's like FU Autocorrect or something. I was cracking up reading it all! Good if you need a laugh!

I just dont get why it does that if you are using as real word typed right. I can see if it is misspelled.

Thanks lig. I rarely eat dairy and have fallen off the wagon with my calcium supplements...
Quote from longislandgirl :

hug I fall out of regular level of b12 now and then little supplements helps a lot my doc sais as I am vegetarian I might need some shots when it was below lower limits (220 i think)- i took supplements for few months and the next time i went for check up it went up above high limits (700+) laugh out loud . . .
Be careful with the supplements. I messed up (Vit D, Ca2+, cranberry, Rx + not drinking enough water) and got a bladder infection. Urgent care said taking too many supplements/vitamins etc. at once can irritate the lining of the bladder, especially if you aren't drinking enough water. I concur on Annicus' D recommendation too- read up on Vit D- it's more of a hormone (there are receptors for it) than your typical vitamin... it has an autoregulatory function- keeps your system in check. It could be of help to those with autoimmune disease- good results with multiple sclerosis in the lab. Many of you know I have an autoimmune dz, and taking Vit D keeps me from needing steroids. (oddly enough, discovered this when battling osteoporis a few years ago- Calcium + D supplement was keeping my numbers up, even when off the steroid!) . In summary, Vitamin D = Whee . Last note, the source of calcium makes a difference in comfort: Calcium Citrate (Citracal) is easier to digest than Calcium Carbonate (Caltrate). Caltrate used to make me nauseous - I was told that was because it relies on the acid of your stomach to digest it and if you don't have enough, you'll throw up. Citracal has never given me a problem.

yeah! that was totally what i read yesterday, how it doesn't help and actually is worse for bone health! crazy thought.
The dairy industry does seem to have a strangle hold on some things and be able to market in ways that other products can't - look at how in CA we can't use the free dairy item coupons? (This is coming from someone that has a dairy farm in the family). In other news, seems I might be heading to WI in early Feb Cold

I bought my DS a coat for Christmas from Kohls. He's lost the receipt. Will they accept printed online order info for a return?
. . .
I did a return at Kohls of an online item that I did not have the invoice (with barcode) for . They would only give me the last selling price... I asked if they could punch the order number in from the print out of my order confirmation, they said "No, our system doesn't work that way." They did a card swipe of the card I used, but it seems DH has put some super protection on the 1 card and my transaction info can't be found for anything purchased at Kohl's or Target. Hopefully your CC will come to the rescue, I couldn't believe they couldn't look up my order. Annoyed

I think I might wait until I find a box big enough to fit all 3 boxes worth of stuff in it. That gets tricky b/c the structural integrity of the box is questionable once it reaches a certain size. laugh out loud

laugh out loud You might need to break that return up so UPS doesn't ruin your plan. They can't be trusted not to take anything if the box falls apart.
