well, how much money the couple makes really shouldn't come in to play here - $300 is a lot of money and maybe they've just spent $$$$ on the wedding and don't want to waste money. plus you're/they're right - it's a lot to pay for him to sleep alone in the hotel.

but i don't see why he needs to stay there the night before. guys notoriously take about 1/10 of the time it takes girls to get ready. the guys could easily stay somewhere else and just let the girls stay there the night before.

if they won't consider that kuz he NEEDS to stay at the same hotel, then, well, they shouldn't care about the money. it's one or the other, really.

Yeah it is a lot of money no matter how you dice it - we're just trying to get down to the motivation for wanting to switch things up like that. Probably a cake + eat it too scenario like you said. nod
Night before stay is necessary b/c the wedding is out of town, bridal party is going to do some activity together to bond earlier in the day, and then there's the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner night. It would be a 4 hour commute back/forth.

I saw the Brazilian peel and was sold laugh out loud! I need some trish line refiner. It's $38 so maybe I'll find some other stuff tomorrow Teehee!
