I think af is thicker material. I do think the quality is slightly better tho not always worth the addl premium. Hollister hoodies do stretch out...both my sherpa lined as well as normal type of hoodies stretched. It doesnt stretch a lot tho so i think the fit is still ok.

I guess it depends on the item of clothing. I dislike all hollister yarn And knit sweaters cause the fit is either too long or too short. I always thought it was due to my body shape. I only buy the occasional hoodie but The fit varies from style to style
Thanks for the detailed info, wolfie! Smilie I was eyeing some sweaters since they're pretty cheap, but you just saved me some $$$ and the trouble of returning. Think I'll stick with AF hoodies from now on, though I do have 2 hollister ones coming in. I'll try them on before deciding whether to return them.

ETA: Forgot to ask, do you wear the same size for these 2 brands? I ordered the same size but some ppl in the deal thread said they sized up for hollister.

Yup. Is there a difference in quality between Gap and BR? I don't shop from them much.

And I hope the ice melt so you can go shopping. hug
Are you still doing the surgery? I remember you said you were gonna do it by Christmas so I thought you changed your mind.

I think BR has nicer stuff plus it fits better than gap. With that being said, lately I haven't been that impressed with BR, and I haven't shopped at gap in forever.

I don't think so....to me the difference here is more a style thing. I think the real difference in quality is more between Old Navy and Gap.

I wear s in hollister button up hoodies but can fit xs or s in zip ups. Its hit or miss for sizing due to style

For af the button up hoodies r too big in s but too small in xs. S in zip up hoodies w fur fit well for me.

Sorry I'm not too much help. I think they just make certain hoodies bigger n others smaller. I end up returning a lot of stuff at both stores frequently

I ordered everything in the same size regardless of style this week, and I ordered a lot! Stick Out Tongue Should probably go try on some stuff in the store for the sizing, but I hate their loud music and bad lighting. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Thanks for your help! Smilie

Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to post...but I wanted to share a really good experience with a VS phone rep! An item was missing from my order, so that was what I originally called in for. When she asked if there was anything else she could help me with, I mentioned how I was disappointed that my store didn't do the additional 50% off sale this year because I always buy a lot on the gamble that they DO do the extra half off.

Then she asked if I had my receipt information, such as item number, description, price, etc. and I ended up getting back half of what I paid! I had paid with a giftcard, so I thought I would be getting a merchandise credit or something, but I got a check! I don't know if they are doing this for everyone, because I didn't even know they could do in-store price adjustments over the phone, but I thought it was really nice of her.

I almost came home with a full set of pups, but the canvas was just not appealing to me... it's so rough! Del Amo- both stores are loaded with pups, small selection of super-ugly PINK $2.99 panties left... though you could get the pink shimmer powder brush thing for 75% off if the panties weren't your thing.

i forget multi-quote...

good thing i asked about eye creams. i've been doing it wrong laugh out loud

i need to dump mascara on my lashes too to use them all up.

i want a kitchenaid, but i'm afraid i don't cook enough to make it worth it.
My question is, how do we even know if we've run out of mascara? Confused I can only tell when they've dried up- it gets harder to reload the brush and it flakes off my lashes.

That's fantastic. I don't think that's the norm, but that would be wonderful if it were. Smilie I just don't get it- all the stuff sits there until they have to pack it back up.

i think we're supposed to replace mascara every ~3 months because of bacteria build up in mascara, regardless if it's all used up. i don't follow that rule religiously though
