Fat girls on the Bus

Main question: 
How is it that they can commit to time consuming make-up regimen, and expensive outer acessories, but not to jogging 20mins a day, (which is arguable all one needs, as long as there's consistency)
On the bus today:
Saw around, counted, 22x "big" girls while riding the campus buses between classes.
I notice many of them have very complicated make up scenarios,, foundation, mascara, liner, shadow (feathered), toner, bronzer, nude lip, etc etc..
Also, many wear a decent amount of middle brand clothing, lots of BR mainly, they're relatively young after-all.
SO, all of this cost money and time, the make up well exceeds 20 mins in most of these cases,
And their cloths are obviously not cheap either...

Did you point out a better investment path, or did you ask why a certain investment path wasn't better than some other investment path with total disregard to sociology, psychology, and physiology?

I did ask why they would invest the SAME amount of time into something that does not work for them.
and everything in sociology, psychology and physiology would agree that MAKE UP does NOT treat the underlying problem.
