Fat girls on the Bus

Main question:
How is it that they can commit to time consuming make-up regimen, and expensive outer acessories, but not to jogging 20mins a day, (which is arguable all one needs, as long as there's consistency)
On the bus today:
Saw around, counted, 22x "big" girls while riding the campus buses between classes.
I notice many of them have very complicated make up scenarios,, foundation, mascara, liner, shadow (feathered), toner, bronzer, nude lip, etc etc..
Also, many wear a decent amount of middle brand clothing, lots of BR mainly, they're relatively young after-all.
SO, all of this cost money and time, the make up well exceeds 20 mins in most of these cases,
And their cloths are obviously not cheap either...

Not "in" with you. And maybe the people around you. It might be helpful if you realize that your small circle isn't the world.
You gave two options based on a TON of underlying assumptions. (Pun intended) It's like the age old question: are you still beating your girlfriend?
(extra points if you know the one word answer to this without googling it.)
Here again, you give an answer that has some truth... but has nothing to do with my point. You want to know why someone would spend all that time with makeup and clothes and not put it into exercise. As if it's simple for everyone to just get out there and exercise.
I can tell you as a coach, half the people you meet don't have the first clue how to start. The other half are scared to death of pain. And the OTHER half actually can't get out and do it. Just because you can do a thing - with your 3% body fat and lucky metabolism - doesn't mean everyone can. You could probably sit on a couch for a year and still get up and do more exercise, more easily, than any of the girls you saw on that bus. That doesn't mean your special in the sense that you have anything mentally over those girls. It means your special because your pituitary or heart or something else is kinder to you in that department. Gain 100 pounds and keep it for a year. Then get out and work it off. Then maybe you can comment on how it's just easier to get out and exercise.
I do not have lucky metabolism, my current diet is zero refined carbs
I didn't know how to start working out or cutting,, but i googled it.
I'm finally going to be cool
And yes, it is blurry lines. Not much in life is black and white.
In ratios (inches, cm) whathaveu, it's 1.618 : 1
In body fat %,, sub 10 is considered "trim-enuff", same for men and women (nonpregnant)
back off shes mine!
yer both mine!!! Nom nom nom!!!
However, this is ever so short sighted: especially in the face of the fact that for hundreds of years, beauty was more towards the buxom side because odds were, a woman with wide hips and plenty of baby fat would survive child birth and be able to better provide for the child. It's only in the very recent past (less than 100 years) that stick thin is in. In fact, I think they point to the 70's and Twiggy as starting that fad. A whopping 40ish years, and the OP is postulating on how beauty is absolute.

The v shape torso is an attractive male trait universally, only achievable through low bf%,, and while attaching it to the golden ratio could infact be arbitrary,, the basic general premise continues,, broader shoulder than thinner waist..
in women,, it's thinner waist vs wider hip,, and THAT premise has not changed either,, because modern day, we have the HIP TO WAIST ratio,, which also typically uses the Golden ratio
