3 minutes is underestimated. Altought expert claims 3 mintues is normal. But it's not.

Actually, I think you have a part of this inverted. I don't think men learn to truly make love until @ 35. Thus...they have more self control and start thinking more of their partner and less of them selves = long time as you get older.

Well, you are thinking of total time of making love. That's different. Your partner can foreplay for two hours before he gets hard but I don't think he can keep it hard for two hours.
