I got plenty of ammo, but no guns.....Sadwalk

According to the FBI, over 1.5 million background checks on customers were requested by gun dealers to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System in December. Nearly 500,000 of those were in the six days before Christmas.
It was the highest number ever in a single month, surpassing the previous record set in November.

The Mosquito is pretty nice, however, I don't really like the trigger on it. It's still a fun plinking gun for the range.
We liked another .22 but the rails and everthing on it were strange so we weren't too jazzed.

I'm glad you agree with me and the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division.

Inexpensive gun fails = "the gun is junk"
expensive gun fails = "you're doing it wrong"

Haha, no. I didn't sign up for any mailing lists at all. I am just sitting watching people browse. Waiting for dh to ask our friends if we can negotiate pricing here.

It's very similar to an airsoft gun, imo. You have a nice, smooth pull and then a "hang" where you have to apply extra pressure for it to fire.

Yeah, he is looking at the ruger SR9. The other .22 we were thinking about was a beretta neos.

For a .22, take a look at a Ruger MKIII or an older MKII (if you can find one), or a Browning Buckmark. They are less finicky about cheap ammo than the Mosquito.

Cool, let us know how it works out for you. Still having some failure to feed issues with ours, but I am using CCI mini-mags (nice .22 ammo). Have fun!

Will do. We pick up Thursday. I am excited about the 9mm I picked. I can't wait to get it on the range.

I am 100% confident you'll like the XD. I have a buddy that loves his. It was one of the pistols I considered purchasing, I just didn't enjoy the blockiness of it.
