It is no fun getting downmodded

I understand that if I were to post a bad deal or post in the wrong forum that I would get downmodded, but what is up with this: I posted in the Deal Talk area to discuss Best Buy having cancelled a deal that I had- that I only got a $5 gift card for complaining- and was asking how others dealt with Best Buy cancellations?

I really like slickdeals and I'm on it a lot, for months. So when I finally start feeling more comfortable- bam! right in the kisser. I know I'm still a noob, but yikes! This can be a rough place.

I'm probably posting this in the wrong place, too. Sorry for bitching.

In the OP I was referring to a Deal Talk thread in which I was talking about a deal, but got downmodded because I was asking how people dealt with BB's massive cancellation of orders over the holidays vs. providing a way to deal with them properly. I learned that BB is a serial screwer-over when it comes to these things, and that I was perhaps wrong in my later assertion that there are only three BB fans on SD. It turns out there are four. And more importantly, we established who was which Cheers character and that Tebow discussion without question is allowed in the Lounge, however no reason was given as to why. Also, I got lightly hazed, especially for my introduction of the term downmodding. Some may say heavily. I'm Carla (not really), nice to meet ya except your name is a little Dana Carveyish.
