Jason Voorhees?
I like to can mine with onions and a couple of drops of lemon juice so that the flavor really comes out. I still have enough of my hot sauce made to last me another year so I think I'll lay off of the peppers, but I have so much area cleared for this spring. I'm not sure what to plant, but I'm sure there's plenty of stuff in the non-GMO seed container I ordered.
Awesome!!!! I want to learn how to do that. Is it hard? I make my own sauce so that would be so much better than the canned tomatoes.

My Dad retired last year and I went to this garden center that had the most awesome blueberry bushes. All of their fruit trees and bushes were very established. I bought him a blueberry bush that must have had over 200 green berries and full of leaves and planted it in his yard to represent the fruits of your labor/his retirement. It's about 3 ft tall and will get bigger. It's cool too because in the fall the leaves turn red on this type.

I've never planted a garden, and I always kill flowers so I've given up and decided to not torture them anymore. I do miss living close to family with gardens. Now we go to a market close to our house. They have good stuff but it's not the same.

OMG flowers are my passion!!!! I have the gardens set where when each season of flowers die, the next season flower comes up. My DH is in the process of finishing making flower boxes for the front and side of the house (well not now that it's cold) He cut them by hand and used a jigsaw to scallop the bottom front. One is fully together and painted white. I'm going to fill them with impatients because they will be in fairly shady areas. I have about 5 Rose of Sharon trees and those take no work and are beautiful. We also planted a Lilac bush which is easy. You might like to try those.
