Hopefully, these instructions will help....but, it been along time since I set up my account at Amazon, so I really do not remember how that process works.

After you get the account set up, however:

1. Go to "Your account" (it is at the top of the web page on the right side - next to the cart icon)
2. Go to the second section on the Your account page (it is titled "Payment")
3. Under the column "Gift cards" (it is the second or right most column in this section)
go to the last line - "Purchase a Gift Card" - Click on this link
4. There are several options on this page - I choose "DIGITAL"
The first link in that column is "E-mail" - click that link
5. This page is where send the gift card (I sent it to myself)
#1. I used their design
#2. Select which design you want - (it really does not matter)
#3. a. Choose the amount ($ 25.00) from the drop down list
b. Enter the recipients e-mail address
c. Select delivery date - I choose NOW
**I skipped some options on the page (sender's name, message - that sort
of thing)
d. Click the "add to order" button
#4 On the same page, to the right and up towards the top of the page is a box
that is labelled "gift card order" - it has a blue frame around it....
"Click on Proceed to checkout" button

You should already be logged in to the site, but if not, you will have to do that now......

#5 This is the payment method page
The options should be "Pay with new card" - click on "Credit or debit card"
option...and enter the 16 digit virtual card number and the expiration date
This comes from the verification box on the rewards site page...
The click "Continue"...
#6 On the right side of the page there is another box with a blue frame around it
titled "Order Summary"...click the "Place your order" button...

You should get an e-mail with the gift card on it in your e-mail box pretty soon after.

To redeem the card - there should be button on the e-mail...
I already redeemed mine and deleted the e-mail form my box, so, I don't have it to look at now...sorry.....

Let me know if there is anything that is confusing or that I overlooked in these instructions...

YAY!!! No more vet!!! Today was my last day!!! Kidneys are doing better, no more swelling. Still have to go to my regular Dr on the 20th and then we will see how things stand!!

You have special talents - I was just going to post about my stupidity in this stuff and ask for specific directions and there you gave me. One more question please (sorry to bother you) I won this under my name and it says specifically not transferrable. So I have to open an account and buy it under my name on Amazon? However, 2 months ago my b/f won a big $10 amazon gift card and Quaker Cereal sent a promotion code to claim the prize. I found it this morning in my papers. Can I combine the 2 giving me $35 on Amazon? It says on the sheet from quaker "gc's may be used only for purchase of eligible goods on Amazon.com and cannot be transferred for value or redeemed for cash" says cannot be transferred for value - what does that mean?

i am not completely sure but there is a work around. When you buy the amazon gift card it is sent as a gift to someone else (ie: Your email address). Once you get it (takes about 5 minutes) you click the redeem now button to add it to your account. From there you can combine both gift cards.

Here is the catch though. You will have to open a amazon account to redeem the camel gift card. Once you pay for it, log out of that account and in as your b/f. Then when you click redeem it will add it automatically to his account, which will combine the two.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
