Until we found out one of our clients was ending a customer contract, I was looking at having to migrate a field with an int primary key to a bigint, and updating all the related code... last time I checked a few weeks ago it was at around 635 million, it had been growing around a million a day. It was either that or completely rewrite a central system function (it was never really designed to be scalable on that level, and with the way they ended up using it). At least it only has a few columns Whee

I wouldn't call myself easy. I don't have a rule on how many dates before it gets steamy, but it's never been before 4 dates (the guys that I date don't just pounce right away). I only dated less than a handful of guys, including these 2 new ones, this past year.

The piece-of-shit app I work on was never designed to scale, AT ALL. It was a temporary "stop-gap" application, SEVEN YEARS AGO. And it's an ugly motherfarker these days.
