Sorry to hear. I hope your laptop is ok.
Update it was the PBOS panty causing problems
I'm so glad you loved it. :b ounce: I've been to Alaska twice. It's an amazing cruise. We've never done a cruise tour, but I've heard great things about them.
For HAL, which ship did you take? This cruise is on Zuiderdam, which I know nothing about. What was the demographic like? Were people dressed fairly nice? We like to dress up for dinner & really dress up for formal nights. I love to see my DH in a tux. Also, how was the food in the main dining room? Did you eat in a specialty restaurant? If so, how was it? Sorry I have so many questions. :bl ush: This is the first time we've considered a HAL cruise, so I haven't researched the line at all.
When I was younger, I really wanted to go to Mardi Gras. I don't think I'd want to now. I'd rather visit, when it's a little more calm. :lo l: Jazz Fest sounds really nice though. We love the French Qtr., but avoid Bourbon street too. It's just not our thing. NOLA is such an interesting, complex city. As with all cities, there's good & bad. It provided our first experience with homeless people. That was sad to see for the first time. I have to say they were the most polite homeless people we've encountered. No one bothered us. The same can't be said for some of the other cities we've visited.
Japan would be incredible! Unfortunately, we're going to have to get our DS through college, before we can take trips like that. It's definitely on my list of places to visit in the future though.
We love cruising, but we're very laid back people. We'd be perfectly happy just riding around in the ocean for a week or two & not stopping anywhere. As long as we have a nice room, great food, & can see the ocean we're good.
I wish you luck tomorrow. Hopefully, the day will fly by. Your baby girl will be fine. :h ug:
I have lived here for 3 Mardi Gras days, and I have never been to NOLA for it. It's just too many drunk, irritating, obnoxious people for me. Plus, you can't find a place to even go pee if you need to and there are SO many people they shove each other over and are nasty. Ugh. Not my idea of fun!
I will say it is an interesting city with a ton of history and traditions, which hubby and I both value. I need to take him to the WWII museum there. We're been saying we were going to go for awhile...
As far as Japan goes, it's always been hubby's dream. For awhile when he got out of college, he intensely researched moving to Japan. I'm glad he didn't, but I would love to help him live the dream of visiting. Now we have to figure out if 4 or 5 years old is old enough to go on a trip like that...
I think I will get through tomorrow OK. I'm just going to pretend it is only one day and I am not even going to think about it being my first day back, maternity leave over, etc. I will allow myself to cry when I come home, but not to start the day. I'll let you know how it works out

i just used some of them - got 6 tops and a jacket for 92 shipped! hopefully i like some of them and don't have too much trouble returning if i need to.
a bit annoyed - this [thelimited.com] totally could have worked as a BM dress. perfect color, and i was pretty partial to one-shoulder dresses. with v$ i could get them for around $30 each...
btw, you need a jumperoo [amazon.com]. my baby started on it at 4.5 months but can not stay there for a long time at first. at this point at 5.5 months, the toys in it can hold his attention. buys me some time, can be up to 30 min! it was bought as gift for us for ~$60.
i also have this walking exersaucer [amazon.com]. i haven't gotten it out of the box yet. i'll let you know how it works out. watch out for prices, i bought this one for $57! i think i started watching the price before he was born.
EDIT: Shipbras12 is the shipping code. ^_^

A friend of mine said the jumperoo is a great thing too - but now that I am sitting here trying to get ready for work with her fussing and I see your recommendation, I can't wait until she is old enough to get into that! I may look at ordering as soon as the income from work comes back in. DH and I continued to spend money at the rate we did while I was working, even though there was only one income.
I'll definitely watch prices on those items and see what I can find though. I appreciate the guidelines as to what they were able to be purchased for
