Let me reintroduce, the VS Social Thread!
Since the Social Threads seem to have been done away with, this is the new home of the VS Social Thread. We talk about everything from VS to Beauty to Coupons to Hot Deals...and of course, our personal lives.
Roll call! Let's get back to what we do!
Please PM everyone who was a part of the VS Social Thread to inform them of our new home.

K, you are right that's the order of status on Sephora.

PS- I love that sun kit! The box is so cute and reusable. People say it's flimsy- but it's not like it's going to fall apart. I remember that yellow bag from year's past that Alvsy was talking about. What a POS that was! I tried to use it and it broke- probably best meant for the dumpster.
I tried the Origins Mimosa moisturizer today (the one that came in my Sephora order). It smelled really refreshing! I think I still prefer Clinique Moisture Surge though.

I can't believe any charity wouldn't take used clothes. Do they really have that many people dropping by with new clothes to give them? IMO, even if they don't, they shouldn't be upset, when someone gives them used clothes. Most people would think someone asking for donations would take what they can get.
When the tornadoes came, people donated dirty clothes and really worn out stuff. The workers asked for that to stop because it was slowing them down.
We left the shoe subject and moved to putting together the bachelorette party. That was refreshing until the bride refused to back out of the planning
Why does this have to be so hard?
One of my friends on FB has been doing a juice fast for 9 days and has lost ~14 lbs. She began by drinking Odwalla and other organic "smoothie"-type beverages, then borrowed someone's juicer and has been making her own out of fruits and vegetables.
I'm kind of interested because the drinks she's blending look delicious, but the drastic reduction in calories worries me and makes me wonder if it's totally healthy/more trouble than it's worth. I'd also be nervous about headaches. But has anyone done a juice fast like this? Is it a waste of time at the end of it?
