nod it is working with code LUXE too. but sun kit is sold out i guess.

K, you are right that's the order of status on Sephora.

Wave How do u girls find women shelters near by your area? TIA. I would really appreciate you help in finding one here hug
The Women's Law center lists women's shelters by state. You would want to contact them to see what they'll take. Most ones I've contacted will not take used clothing, and are tired of people dropping it off- so be sure to let them know that's not what you've got. ETA, some have websites with lists of what they want, others will take anything.

PS- I love that sun kit! The box is so cute and reusable. People say it's flimsy- but it's not like it's going to fall apart. I remember that yellow bag from year's past that Alvsy was talking about. What a POS that was! I tried to use it and it broke- probably best meant for the dumpster.

So sleepy and hungry...what to do..what to do.. Yawn

I tried the Origins Mimosa moisturizer today (the one that came in my Sephora order). It smelled really refreshing! I think I still prefer Clinique Moisture Surge though.

Grasp it by the red sides and pull up. Don't grasp the metal sides because those need to come up to open. Kind of hard, but it'll come loose! I want more of these Whee it smells lovely!

There's one charity that will come to your house around here if you have a lot of stuff. Dh has called them before. I think it's salvation army or Hannah home. I'm not sure. He did it when we were moving.

Thanks for the naked 1 and 2 info anni and azn! I think I am warmer and I love shimmer so I should probably be taking your advice and getting naked1 but I keep looking at my stila and the balm pallets and worrying that they have too many similar colors in common. >_> I should just order, it is sephora after all, no need to agonize with their return policy. Thanks for the luxe code, Tizzy! Also, the luxe code combines with 6scents, earth12, and scent4u. I wonder if they'd all come. : scratch:
Thanks woot Somebody tell me what to buy? I can't think of anything I need at the moment. Embarrassment Hopefully, it will still be working tomorrow. I'm sure I'll think of something by then. Teehee

You guys are making me depressed with all your debt-free talk. My parents don't really have money and all three of us girls did really well in school, so it was sort of expected of us to go to college + grad school. I have to start paying back student loans and it's about half of my monthly paycheck since I had to take care of everything myself. I worked 20 hours/week during school and had scholarships too... DH is in a similar boat but he just has a bachelor's and makes more than me so he's in a little better shape. I really want a house and kids but don't see that happening until i'm in my forties at this rate. I'm turning 26 in two weeks so I can relate to some of your "just out of reach" feelings.

There's a few that come by here. I always donate to the Cancer Society. I don't know if they like makeup bags. If they don't, they hate me. laugh out loud I gave them 2 boxes full a few months ago.

I can't believe any charity wouldn't take used clothes. Do they really have that many people dropping by with new clothes to give them? IMO, even if they don't, they shouldn't be upset, when someone gives them used clothes. Most people would think someone asking for donations would take what they can get.

I've heard some of the charities will sale some of the used clothes to rag shops to make rags.

When the tornadoes came, people donated dirty clothes and really worn out stuff. The workers asked for that to stop because it was slowing them down.

Bridezilla update.
We left the shoe subject and moved to putting together the bachelorette party. That was refreshing until the bride refused to back out of the planning EEK! We're renting a house on a lake and she was scrutinizing the carpet Facepalm , looked at our booze list and was vetoing things from it that she didn't like. (Yo, you can drink your carbonated piss, but we have to plan for the guests.) I tried to get her to back out of the planning process b/c at least part of it is supposed to be a surprise right? She got to choose where, and what... now we're just hammering out details but bride's sister insists she doesn't want any surprises. I told them to plan it themselves and let us know when to show up, but they don't want that either. Now they've got a full-scale bridesmaid mutiny on their hands with all of us thinking about backing out.
Why does this have to be so hard? Head Bang

Looking for opinions:

One of my friends on FB has been doing a juice fast for 9 days and has lost ~14 lbs. She began by drinking Odwalla and other organic "smoothie"-type beverages, then borrowed someone's juicer and has been making her own out of fruits and vegetables.

I'm kind of interested because the drinks she's blending look delicious, but the drastic reduction in calories worries me and makes me wonder if it's totally healthy/more trouble than it's worth. I'd also be nervous about headaches. But has anyone done a juice fast like this? Is it a waste of time at the end of it?
