When talking about what house to rent, bride declared 1 to be her absolute favorite and pushed us to book it immediately. We start talking budget and sister sends an email stating she can only afford $250, though the house they want requires $350 pp if everyone shows up and $500+ if it's just BM's paying. We say "OK, can't afford this one, lets look at the others" and then sister says "Oh, what if I raised the amount?". In talks with the other BM's, turns out bride and sister thought that the youngest should not have to pay as much as the older people in the group and that we would kick in the rest.
Review:
Shimmery Wireless Push-Up Bra Top [victoriassecret.com] : Looks just like the picture, only with a little more cleavage. I'd say $30 is worth it since it feels so well made and the "push-up" part feels more like heavy padding. This puppy is coming to Maui with me, we leave tomorrow morning
We left the shoe subject and moved to putting together the bachelorette party. That was refreshing until the bride refused to back out of the planning
Why does this have to be so hard?

One of my friends on FB has been doing a juice fast for 9 days and has lost ~14 lbs. She began by drinking Odwalla and other organic "smoothie"-type beverages, then borrowed someone's juicer and has been making her own out of fruits and vegetables.
I'm kind of interested because the drinks she's blending look delicious, but the drastic reduction in calories worries me and makes me wonder if it's totally healthy/more trouble than it's worth. I'd also be nervous about headaches. But has anyone done a juice fast like this? Is it a waste of time at the end of it?

he asked is it 36 hrs in 1 day? i said yes. he laughed. good thing he did it to test me, not to make a mental note. i should really pay attention, otherwise i might teach him wrong facts!
i haven't placed an order at folica
I have not but, 2 of my friends and their mother tried it. 1 got sick right away and had to stop, the other said that she got too hungry and stopped pretty quickly, and their mother did it for the longest (nearly all of lent) and haaaaaaaaaaaaated it. She eventually got so sick of juices that she would sometimes skip meals instead of juicing. She stopped sooner than she had intended as well. The mom did lose weight, the other 2 did not. They all said that they didn't feel well on the diet, light headed, hungry all the time, that kinda thing.
K, you are right that's the order of status on Sephora.

But hope you will have fun anyhow!

naked 2 on the left, then shady lady 2, stila in the light, naked 1.
swatched:
top: naked 1. bottom: stila in the light.
it does seem like they were made to be very similar to each other. the stila palette to me seems a bit more red. it's a good comprehensive palette between naked 1 and naked 2.
naked 2 swatched:
very top sparse swatches - shady lady 2 shades that looked similar to naked 2.
round swatches - naked 2.
bottom longer swatches - naked 1.
Sorry about the boy bias in your family. My mom was told she should go to college to find her a husband.
Anyway you two would consider living together before the wedding? DH and I bought our condo while we were engaged. When living together, we set up a joint account at ING ( we also have separate accounts there that we can fund the joint account with). I showed DH how much money I had saved up which dwarfed his. I was a freaking grad student and the 20% down all came from ME. Crazy! ha. I think that changed his perspective too. Live together, create a shared bank account you pay the rent with... maybe opens to door to more finance talk and looking at each others' numbers.
Yeah, I made 1/5 of what my fiancee made and it was awkward at first. We started out by creating a joint bank account at ING for wedding expenses. I contributed 20% and he contributed 80%... that's how we still do it; He pays the mortgage, I pay HOA and utilities. Now that we have rent too- I pay it but he transfers money to my account every month
I'm not really sure about the living situation in the future just because of my pets. Hopefully we can have something set up together, kind of like what you're talking about and I think I'm just going to put what I would spend away just for our future. Hoping he'll take the lead. But it sounds like I would be doing something similar to you, saving up as much as I could and show him and ground him.
Enjoy your vacation, get away from Bridezilla and thanks for your wise words!

Don't get me wrong, I looove Odwalla and Naked, they're so good, but not as the sole food for my day.
