I do the same thing! It's not that uncommon for me to by three of a shirt or shorts like the scoop neck ruched knit dress. My favorite Smilie

Yeah, I'm disappointed in the dresses. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make the metallic lace dress work. Other than a bit of overflow boob, it fits perfectly. I need a way to tame the girls. laugh out loud I have one more coming. Wish me luck.

How many rollers you use would depend on how long & thick your hair is. If you didn't have too much hair in them, they're probably fine. I usually only use all of them, if I want a lot of curl. For a wavy look, you shouldn't need all of them. I can't wait to see, if you like them. bounce
The curls fell out in less than an hour!! My hair is 25 inches long. I just measured. I used up all the jumbo and 2 blue ones. I guess not enough? First time using rollers and I didn't use product because I wanted to see what it would do with my natural hair. I felt like my way of pinning my hair half up and half down worked better in less time. I just need to find a way to work the rollers right. I'll keep it because I think it's good to have and I'll give it a go when I get a hair cut and hair is shorter.

I'm gonna try K's curling wand later today.

I thought it was the first one. The only thing on the site that isn't on sale. Annoyed The first & third link look very similar. How are they different? I wonder if the last one would be too short for me. Scratchchin I don't necessarily want a mini. The models are so much taller than I that a knee length skirt on them is too long for me. I want one that's a respectable length for any occasion, but not too long. For me, that's usually a mini on them. laugh out loud The last skirt is so cheap I'm considering trying it. I'll probably still need a longer one though.
the high waist zigzag and the bandage are not mini. i have both. the sigzag in sz 2 and the bandage in 4.

I'm not converting. I don't have a CC for either one, so I'm an equal opportunity deal shopper. Big Grin VS still gets too much of my money. Embarrassment Their dresses don't seem to be made for the well endowed though. I'm really disheartened with my recent dress experience. They're so pretty, but don't work for me. Frown Hopefully, Express dresses will fit me better.

That's a bummer about your hair. My hair is really long, so I doubt yours is too long. (I'm embarrassed to admit how long mine is at the moment. Blush) For lasting curls, I have to do prep work. I also use all sizes of rollers. I only use the largest rollers on the bottom row. I use hairspray liberally, after styling. It sounds like a lot to achieve curl, but I get better, lasting curls with hot rollers than any other method. I've tried everything. My hair is too straight to achieve curl, without heat. A curling iron will work almost as well, but it takes more time & wears my arm out. I hope you figure it out. Practice makes perfect. I've been rolling mine since middle school.

hmmm i tried on kurpee's zig zag skirt in a 2 - waist was tight, hips not (but again my hips are smaller for my proportions). i would start with a 4 and go on from there. sounds like k gets 2's and 4's - i've only tried a couple so i don't have as much experience with express sizing as the veterans do. i've only tried the 2's and they're not tight enough to be mini's for me.

i don't remember how long your hair is! did they rollers feel stuffed when you clipped them? or did they seem ok? i haven't tried since my haircut but i usually can't fit all my hair into the set. and it falls out for me too, even with product - but for the first 3-4 hours it falls into a really nice voluminous body that my friend keeps complimenting.

and Whee yay for finally trying out everything! let me know if you figure out the fat curling wand. i gave up on it for the time being (and went back to my fat curling iron laugh out loud).

it's possible azn and my hair won't work as well with those hot rollers as our asian hair may be a different texture. i.e. it's hard for my hair to hold a curl - currently it's flat iron or clipless wand > curling iron > hot rollers as far as curl hold for me. i tried hot rollers with product (putting product in before and after) and it still didn't stay.

I don't really want a mini. I want one that's 2 to 3 inches above my knee. Usually, skirts that are mini on most people are the right length for me. That's the reason I was asking about minis. I thought that was what the rest of you shorties were ordering. laugh out loud Which skirt do you recommend, since I'm only ordering 1? I may try the cheap mini too, but I also want one that looks a little dressy to wear with nice tops for a more dressed up look. Unless the cheap one looks nice & is flattering, that is. If it can be paired with a nice top to look dressy, I'm all for cheap. Teehee

Thanks for the skirt info. I'll try a 4. I'm guessing I should order a small in the cheap mini.

You may be right about hair texture. My hair does roll easily & holds well, but only with a lot of prep. It's too straight for a flat iron though. I get that look naturally. laugh out loud It does have body, which may help with curl. One thing I noticed is you bought a set with all big rollers. I can't use all big rollers & achieve & maintain curl. I use the smallest on the front (what would be bangs on those with bangs). I separate the rest to have a top layer & a bottom layer. On the top, I use the medium size rollers. On the bottom layer, I use the big ones. I use all of the small ones & usually use all of the medium size. Sometimes, I have a few of the largest size left, but not always. I have a lot of hair to roll though. This is with the Babyliss set like azn bought. I hope you girls find the method that works best for your hair soon. At least, it's fun to experiment. Smilie
