I've been good today. No orders. Trying to decide on the incredible.

I'm focusing on buying clothes that fit a wide variety of weights. Button down shirts work well for me for a wide range, the essential t's and fleece pants are wonderful. I'm not buying much at a time but I also do need to have some stuff. I know you can relate to not having items to wear as you lose weight. I'm looking forward to the huge shopping spree when I hit my goal!

I'm sure your DH will hate me for suggesting this, but could you ask him to stop by a dept store that has EL (i.e. belk where you got your kit) and get you a sample of the 2.0? that way you could compare side by side without actually having to buy the 2.0. or else, maybe you should get the 2, if you think you will get darker in the summer. what foundation colors are you in other brands? it doesn't have to be mac - i'm not great with my mac color either but so many ppl use it as a point of reference that i hear it thrown around more often.

also, i think it's perfectly fine for the bride and groom to be gone an hour after the ceremony. that is when cocktail hour goes on, and i don't think i've ever seen the bride & groom during cocktail hour. (of course, this would be different if it were not a late ceremony that's followed by a dinner reception) no one misses them then.

imo, photos are beautiful when there's snow on the ground and in the trees. if it's at a time of year before snow falls, then i don't see the point, because as porda said everything will be dead by then since it's winter. the beauty of winter in wisconsin imo is the abundance of snow. however, i think it's silly for them to drag you guys around. like porda said, they should just do the wedding party photos at the church or at the reception area. they can go off to the park by themselves for their newlywed photos.

get some alcohol for the limo. there's no time to go bar hopping! i don't know what time your church appointment is tho - i find the weddings that happen in a church tend to have a longer gap between the ceremony and reception. if this is the case, then you guys will have a lot of time to get all those photos in - but going to bars is really a dumb idea imho! hopefully she will reconsider.

You just had a baby. It took me 6 months to get back down to my normal weight and I still felt flabby because I wasn't toned. Just a day at a time like you're doing is best!

Apparently a size 00 will still get you called fat around this place .

The wedding picture situation is obviously different for each demographic of guests. Very few people drink at the weddings I've been to in recent years. There is no official cocktail hour. Those who drink do so at the reception. If there was a cocktail hour, most people wouldn't partake. They would literally be sitting around waiting for the bride & groom. I don't know too many people who are willing to nurse a few hor d'ouerves for an hour or longer. If people are drinking, that would make the time go by faster. I can see how there's time for a lot of photos in a situation like that.

Sending him for a sample is a great idea! I'll definitely do that. I've decided to keep the 1.0 for now. If the sample looks promising, I'll buy the 2.0 when there's another GWP. The tube doesn't look like it will last that long anyway. I'll probably need more, by the time I get some sun.

Our ceremony was the same place as the reception - so I bought my hour grace period with an open bar cocktail hour That worked, except my family ran off to get themselves drinks
ETA- we also had a friend play some acoustic guitar stuff and apps were passed. We took advantage of the 30 minutes or so it took to herd folks into the reception room and squeezed in a few sunset pics.

yup, that's what we're doing! unfortunately the sun will set at 8 at my wedding, so we won't catch the awesome sunset photos unless our photographers grab us and sneak out to do some photos.

did you get it in bright jade? i struggled for a while between the 3 choices and ended up with bright jade.
