Thanks for the VS update. I need to get another wireless bra, & was hoping to find a good deal in the store, when I'm out with my guests. I really don't want to buy $100 to get FS at the moment. The smart thing to do would have been to add it to my last order. I don't always do the smart thing though.

It's so exciting your DD got her first VS bras. I bet she loves them & feels more like a grownup now.

Uh oh...I'm 27 now. Not going to count my birthdays anymore.

I'm kind of over the sister thing today. She just took me by surprise. I'm so excited for my niece to visit & go to WDW that I'd happily pay for it. It would have been nice, if they'd told me this when she found out she could come. Unfortunately, we don't have unlimited resources. Like most people, I have a limit on what I can spend. I try to allow myself a certain amount to spend in a certain amount of time. If I'd known in advance, I could have saved the money I was spending last month.

I've slept with a pillow between my legs or under my knees for years. I can't sleep w/o one. Taking the pressure off your back makes a big difference. I hope you're feeling better today.

Be careful with exercising. I'm convinced I injured my back worse that way. I have a never quit personality & would push myself to finish the class, even if I was feeling pain. I refused to be the first to give up. Now I know how stupid that way of thinking is. If your back says it's had enough, quit. It's better to stop mid-class than injure yourself.

I thought I was the only one who did that. I'm 29 every year.

Especially when you are around a bunch of enablers.

Have not tried them yet, but I will be skipping (is that allowed Icey? ) to the store tomorrow to find out!

You're so right! I always advise other people to stop if they are in pain or not to push too hard. And yet, I do the complete opposite. I'm itching to work out today but I think I will pass...giving myself a mani & pedi instead.

GH, you can always vent here! BTW, I'm excited that you're excited. It's always a great feeling to reconnect with family who you don't see all the time.

I've been cleaning out my closet & drawers too. They look pretty sad at the moment. Well, my drawers do. My closet is finally to the point where I can see what's in there. Before, the clothes were so crammed in there you couldn't really see anything. Filling the drawers & stuffing the closet will be a work in progress. I still need jeans/pants & a few dresses, but I'm about finished clothes shopping for now. I'll have to buy a lot for winter though. I dread it, especially since our cruise is in Oct. I'd rather spend all my money on that. : D I'm having my formal dresses altered, so I won't have to buy new ones for the cruise.

I saw the Hatfields & McCoys advertised, but forgot about it. What channel is it on & is it a good show? I'm almost out of shows to record to watch at night. All the series I like have had their season/series finales already. My DH won't go to bed w/o me, so I go to bed at his bed time. I always lay there & watch tv for hours. I'm running out of things to watch though. It kills me to watch commercials, so I like having shows recorded.



Tops like that make me look heavier too.

GH - I stopped in the Wesley Chapel VS today to get DD measured (it was so precious) and they didn't have hardly any SAS bra's for us big breasted women. :teeh ee: I was pretty disappointed.

Bought DD her first PINK bras today. The ladies were so helpful to us there. They took her in the dressing room and measured her and had her try on a bunch of bras. I wish I had that kind of help when I was her age. They gave us a card with her Pink and VS measurements, yes two different sizes. She was fitted in a VS Angels lightly lined full coverage, but wanted a Pink demi so they told us you go up a band size and up a cup size, never knew that! Not that I will ever fit in a Pink bra. :teeh ee:

Ahhh man...I feel like I threw out my back today. :sha ke: Aren't I too young for these types of "growing" pains? :l ol: I went to the mall to pay my VS bill and I was walking around with one hand attached to my back in a constant massage.

I feel everyone's pain with the sister drama at the moment. Well, it's not really drama, but a shock. My sister called earlier. We were talking about their trip next week & where they want to eat. So, my sister says, "You may not want us to pick the most expensive places, because you'll have to pay for most of *insert my nieces name here* trip." :fai nt: She says she doesn't know how much money her dad with give her, so I'll have to pay the rest. I'm thrilled that my niece is getting to come. She's the daughter of my deceased sister, & this is the first time her dad has allowed her to come with anyone. She's going to be a senior in high school, so it's beyond time he let her. I just wish they would have told me earlier, if that was the plan all along. I wouldn't have spent so much money lately. :e ek: I'm not looking forward to sharing this bit of info with my DH. He won't say anything, because he knows it will backfire on him. I do feel bad about springing it on him the last minute though. If any of you plan to pull something like this on a sibling, please tell them more than 5 days out. I feel like I've been put in a bad situation needlessly. : (

How old are you? I found out I had arthritis in my back at 27. Unfortunately, back problems don't seem to discriminate based on age. I hope you feel better tomorrow, & it's not chronic. :h ug:

It's less noticeable if I work out often (I'm guessing the muscles get trained to be stronger?). I'm sorry to hear about the tough spot your sis put you in. It's never good when people spring things on you last minute (esp. 'cus now you have to perpetuate this and spring it on DH last minute). On the bright side, you'll be able to see your niece and hopefully that will allow you to forget all of this last-minute stuff.

I love having girls. But this DD isn't a girly girl. She doesn't wear skirts or dresses, doesn't want me to do her hair or makeup so it was nice to have a couple girly moments with her this month. We went dress shopping for her award ceremony, I was allowed to curl her hair, :teeh ee: and yesterday I took her bra shopping. So fun. :gir ly:

I don't know if they will more out or not but it was slim pickin's when I was there and there was a lot of women shopping and trying stuff on. You would of thought it was Black Friday in that store!

We went to the mall with DH and her younger sister also so once DH said he'd be outside to wait she was excited.

I see how not having advanced notice throws your planning off. Especially since you are paying cash for your trip. My brother is coming to town November for Tday and a Universal Studios trip. I started saving money so my trip can be paid for in cash when he gets here. I would be upset if I had all this planned out and last minute it was sprung on me that I was paying for an extra person. We're here so vent away.

When Express opens a new store is there anything special that goes on in store? They are opening a new one in Clearwater which isn't close but not too far away. Just wonder if it's worth going out there. :dontkn ow:

Hatfields and McCoys was on the History Channel. It should have a ton of reruns going - it was immensely popular. It is 3 episodes and each episode is 2 hours. Definitely worth setting up your DVR to record : )

Awww, I'm glad you and DD had fun! I am so happy I have a little girl - but we're still in the brand new stages of diapers, if i ever even mentioned bra shopping for her in the future my husband would stroke out : lol:
