That's so sad! I didn't watch the video because I know I can't bare to see it, but seriously, no offense to you parents out there, I'm sure you're great, but some parents need to step up on their parenting.
My dad works with this one kid and his mother told my dad that her kid fought her. FOUGHT with fists because of some disagreement. It's so sad because I've seen this kid grow up and he had so much potential but to turn out like an entitled pre-teen?? :r olleyes: And the dad does nothing but drink in his basement. It's so sad because the kid is super smart, but he's just going down this black hole because both parents can't present a united front. It's too bad, the mother is trying all she can, but kids these days are too ballsy. I always tell myself that if/when I become a parent, I will sure put my kids in their place. :mad :
That woman is a victim of her DH & the school systems. They constantly tell kids they're equal to adults & adults can't discipline them. Adults should encourage them in everything they do. I suppose they're trying to encourage self-esteem. What they're doing is producing kids that are totally out of control. I saw a show recently where CEOs were saying they didn't want to hire kids right out of college now. They said they had always been told how great they are in school & they expected to be rewarded, if they did even the smallest task. They said it was rare to find someone right out of college these day who could accept constructive criticism.
Sorry ladies for getting on my soapbox. We dealt with that with our DS. His friend's parents went through it too. It took us a while to convince our DS that he could ignore that little piece of advice from school. We were his parents & he would respect us & respect his elders. The teachers & school officials need to stop being their friends & start being their teachers. The kids are taught they have all the control, & are capable of making their own decisions. Anyone who tries to discipline them is evil & needs to be reported. Okay, I'll get down now.
stacking codes: BEAUTEE, YOURGIFT, 3FORDAD, FAUXGLOW, NAIL4U i tried a bunch of others but these are the only ones that worked for me.
Like I said a few days ago, I was afraid they would eventually do something to reduce returns. I decided not to return & rebuy for this reason. I have another big order to return, plus a couple things in DH's name. These are all things that didn't fit. If they're going to charge per invoice, I'll stop buying anything that I'm not sure will fit. That basically means I'll order bras & panties & nothing else. They would have missed out on $1000+ that I ordered & kept over the past few months, if they were charging per invoice. I will definitely do a lot less shopping there, if this is the new policy. I don't want to deal with in store returns.
On another note - my offtopic rant for the day...when people write, or even worse - SPEAK the shorthand "totes" instead of totally and "adorbs" instead of adorable...it makes me see red. Literally I think it is the dumbest and most irritating thing EVER.
/soapbox.
Just waiting for the credit to go back to my card, but I didn't see an Processing fee.
I also had a return 1 or 2 weeks ago and no Processing fee.
About the legality of Processing fees, I think it's actually completely legal, but it could depend on where the business operates. I know at my old job, they charged a 10% processing/restocking fee for returns.
So it could just be a one-off or something, hopefully.
I'm so tempted to get a credit card...
Also, this cocoon sweater [express.com] is finally on sale. I have a couple coupons left and can't wait to go into express to finally get it!
Express needs a sale on the full price stuff. I want to place an order, while I can get double points with the lip gloss.

This chart [express.com]pretty much breaks it down.
I agree with you. If they start charging a processing fee to return an item, I will no longer shop there.
like i said earlier, it shows up as a return label charge on my return confirmation.

That's one interesting tidbit about CEOs...could depend on what industry. I was reading in Forbes about working at investment banks from a college grad's perspective and they said that they didn't know anything about the money market themselves and they were being paid top dollar to advise top companies about how to spend their money when they didn't know what they were doing

...
I haven't been really impressed with VS lately. I'm not receiving my SLR's in the mail when I redeem for them, the sizing issues on the bras I ordered are UNREAL and the CS seems worse than it was before. Maybe I just need to quit shopping for awhile
It says return label fee or something like that.
Also, I have a free return label, but it's over 90 days old and an order where I received the wrong item. Which label do you think I'm most likely to not incur a charge without having to call, assuming everything else processes normally? I'm also fine with paying the $5.99, so long as I only have to pay it once.
...or not showing up but because they "need to."

But I know what you mean, I kind feel the same way...I don't shop like I used to at ANY store...but...I want to keep my status to not miss out on any goodies.
