It was like 82 degrees on Sat/Sun. It was cool yesterday, and now snow.
It went straight from 84 degrees to snow, but I knew that would happen because the tulips were about to bloom and it always snows on the tulips.

I figure some sun is good for you, regardless of your shape. (Nope, don't have studies on hand to back this up, but I'm going to proceed as if it's accurate for now anyway.) I'm out there in the 70 and 80 degree weather with my stretch marks and all in plain view and I'll just let the world deal with it Dance13 (nobody has died as a result or even gone into convulsions so far this year, at least not that I've noticed).

Wow, thanks! That's just my yard, but you can see that the gargoyle does like the tulips. (My guess is he's thinking that one on the left is looking pretty tasty.)

(And if you want to repost it or anything else, feel free. Smilie )

Thanks! The gargoyles are doing the work, I'm just pressing the button. Smilie Back a while ago, Max caught this as it was floating by, so I had to grab a pic:

(Yes, really. I admit that I did help him get a better hold on the ribbon before taking the picture, but the balloon had been just floating along and got stuck in the branches. I have no idea where it came from; there's not a whole lot out here, so it was probably a long trip.)

Hopefully she'll gain weight fast. Everything else going okay with her? Breathing okay? No jaundice, or anything like that?G]
She's back to her original weight. She's doing really good according to her pediatrician. She already started getting bottled fed and I've had success breast feeding her.

So your little girl was born at 33 weeks right? Are they saying that she has to stay until what your 36 week or 40 week date would have been? For us it was the 40 week date. the twinkies were in the NICU for 5 weeks I think. Give her some of that good 'ole billiruben
nod
they told me to expect her to be there through my due date, which was May 15th. Although, I think she'll be able to go home before then because she's doing so well with breast feeding.

hug I'm glad she's doing well. I remember when the princess and the dude were born. They were 4.5 and 4.3 pounds, and it felt like they were in the nicu forever. DW was there every 3 hours. Sometimes she would just stay all day from 6am to midnight and alternate feedings with them every 1.5 hours. Their eyes were covered, and they were under that blue light for the majority of their time there. I had to stay home and take care of DS1, and I remember how pissed I got that I had to use 3 weeks of vacation with nothing left over. This is why there should be paternity leave. Mad

How are you coming along and managing everything?

I agree. That or have to get something like aflac and take leave without pay at work.

I def think guys should get paternity leave...guys need to bond with their children too...I mean maybe they don't need as long because they're not healing, but still I think the laws surrounding parents and whatnot are increadibly sexist...

I'm one of those feminist that actually wants equality for the sexes, which means no one gets favor when it comes to being a parent...it took both of them to get there, they should both reap the benifits...
