No you dont. ive been able to convert a macys and an hd gc into an actual gc so itll be easier to use instore.

Ok so this is what I did. I drove to the casino today, short drive. I had printed out the item I wanted to order, I wrote my account number on it as well (FYI) and went to the total rewards place located at the casino. The lady asked for my TR card, when I told her I didn't have one she made me a TR card, checked my drivers license, was amazed I had so many credits and ordered the item for me. No problem what so ever. Very happy I was able to get the item I wanted. Smilie

Very true and if it had not been a 'short drive' I would not have done it... I was annoyed myself having to go to the casino. But for anyone who does live a short distance away it does work very well.

I feel for the people who live hours away and can't redeem.
It should have been stated at the start how you had to redeem it and that you had to appear personally.

It's ashame that this forum is full of posts about how winners of reward credits have to go to a casino to redeem and that this requirement should have been in the rules. First and foremost this game was for total rewards members & people wanting to be new members.....for existing total rewards members.....it is a known fact that we must visit the reward center at a casino to order items from the catalog....for new members (who read the requirements of ordering from the catalog when signing up for a total rewards card) they also would know that reward credits need to be redeemed in person at a casino...everyone who uses this site is hoping to win something they can use...and sometimes we do.....others times what we win goes into the closet, garage, junk drawer etc....or goes unused, like the Red Envolope certificates i won....Hopefully there are alot of total rewards members / slickdeals members using this contest as a way to increase their comps.
