Woohoo! i just started sanitizing jars and lids to can 2 gallons of spaghetti sauce I just put together from the garden. drool

It should last at least a year in the pantry I think. We don't go through it very fast, but I've got too many tomatoes to eat before they go bad.

My little garden is semi successful. Everything I planted that was already a plant is doing wonderful Happy

Everything I planted from seed never came up, except one or two beet plants Frown laugh out loud

Oh! I also have a random tomato plant growing by my house that I never planted. I'm thinking a seed fell out of the tomato plant container when I dropped it Dontknow

I failed this year at squash and pumpkins. The squash bugs cleared out 40 plants, and that's after battling them every day for a month. I had some good looking food growing on them, too. Squash, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, acorn squash, zucchini, giant pumpkins.

But I've got about 100 watermelons that are a nice size. Feel free to stop by and grab one.

I was going to plant a variety of summer and winter squash, plus cantaloupe. Decided against it though after I realized I already had a ton of stuff planted.

Too bad my seeds never came up though Mad I'll probably pick up some new seeds of what ever I can throw in the ground this late Whee

But it's my first time actually having a garden/ planting seeds and I probably did it wrong anyhow. I'm just happy I'm remembering to water everything LMAO But the heat is killing my snap peas Mad
