If you soak the seeds before putting them in the ground you have a better chance of them sprouting. Also, the soil temp for cantaloupe to sprout has to be 70 degrees or above. If you plant them too early in the season they won't take.

Wellll, I accidentally left the packets outside in the rain and heat for a couple of days so they had already sprouted laugh out loud Maybe thats where I went wrong?

For some reason my favorite sauce only seems to be available seasonally, and I haven't been able to nail down exactly what I like about it more than any of the rest.
