WTH? How old? Generally in little league they stop tracking the scores when blowout is apparent. Annoyed What ever happened to kid sports being about learning the game and having fun.

clearly a different experience than me growing up playing field hockey or soccer against the kids from the neighboring village. No matter what the score, every game ended in a fistfight and especially with sticks on hand (or to be found in the nearby woods), it was just too tempting. I also helped that it was not an official league and without a referee or parents present, there was no adult to stop the fun. laugh out loud Ah the good old times!

The oldest is too emotional as it is, but a blowout doesn't get him discouraged. I've taught him that his attitude about the game should be based on his individual performance. If he plays like crap, then he should be upset no matter if they win or lose. He's in the 11 yo league this year which is called the Majors. Last year he was in the minors where they had blow out rules, but this year they don't.

And what the heck is a bully stick? Dontknow
