The farm we get milk from has this giant black bull in a field separated from the rest of the cows, and he just sits there staring over the fence at the bulls all day and all night. Every time I drive past he's there with giant bull balls almost touching the ground. So exciting day around here. Two cyclists may have been killed just a minute ago by a truck. It seems someone thought it would be wise to organize a bike race with hundreds of participants on a two lane road used as an industrial shipping route. I didn't realize anything had happened, but I heard the sirens in front of my neighbors house and then the med-evac and news choppers showed up. Word is that they are dead, but I haven't seen it in the news or anything yet.

It is sad. The speed limit is 55, and these mac trucks just come barreling around the corners at 55 without noticing if there's anyone else there. The place where they were hit is at a bend where the road narrows as it goes over a swam.

I have tomatoes!!!! Whee

The squash plants are doing really well, but I lost a brussel sprout plant. I hope the lack of phosphorus from the cold weather doesn't cause my tomato plants to have a low yield. It's only just now starting to warm up outside.

There was a big hornet or something on my enclosed porch. I sprayed it until it was stuck on it's back and did not appear to be able to get up and fly away.
