The race, what I saw of it, was very exciting.
I didn't check Tivo last night, I should have but forgot the race was on Fox this week. It didn't tape because the title didn't include Formula One in it, Fox in their infinite wisdom decided to simply title it the European Grand Prix. We missed the first 19 laps!
on the positive side, the USGP is NOT on FOX, so you get less commercials and live coverage on SPEED, it'll be a long time, if ever, before FOX puts up F1 on a football Sunday.

I wanted Grosjean to win, looked like they might have had the pace with some help on strategy, too bad the car let up.
Do I really need to see a slow motion replay 5 times of the same thing. What the hell?!?!
My mom turned me on to Formula 1 racing a couple years ago. All my life I had no idea that she followed it!

Do you have a favorite driver or team?

Got to love the internet where the brits stream their BBC Sky sports feeds. They cover F1 like the US covers Nascar (tons of good stuff). Speed has yet to get consistent post race coverage from the interview pit where all the drivers go, they have never talked to team principals after the race like the BBC boys do and we have no personal stories of any of the drivers.
Speed didn't even get any coverage of the US NJ driving stuff did they? I saw Lee Mckenzie ride along with DC in an Infiniti G37 around the track but I doubt Speed even sent anyone there. What a joke of a station that calls itself speed. Hope F1 coverage is bought by BBC America next time it's up for grabs.
SpeedTV board is the biggest joke too.

Fox sucks, I don't even bother with Fox F1 coverage. I think Speed is bad enough with their stupid length of commercials during the race.

This past weekend they at least showed brief clips of Vettel driving the NJ circuit and on Letterman, along with info from a F1 festival in NY (They did not cover the formula expo in Austin, but they did cover Andretti talking about COTA and driving the partially paved track in an SUV)
I was so excited when the accident happened I was beside myself yesterday. Crashilton as they like to call him lived up to his nickname. Too bad Schwerzinger wasn't there to show us her ugly mug while we were at it. I hate seeing her on TV, just like I hate seeing HAM and Button's dad. Now Jessica is totally opposite.

I thought it was Hamilton's fault too. He shouldn't have been pushing so hard when his tires were that bad. He should have been more focused on getting points for fourth place than on getting on the podium. With the drivers race so crowded this year, he really needed those points.

I don't mind him pushing to try to keep the position, as all drivers are going to be aggressive but be smart and push him off line and defend your position without forcing the other driver to have to stop in order to avoid the accident. I like his driving style and passing anywhere you can not just at the usual spots but he's also got to learn to let others pass once in a while. He probably could have kept his position at that corner had he given MAL some more room to rejoin the track, he knew he was not going to keep the position with his tires so worn down. He should have played it smart like you said and took the points.
P.S. first official support race for the USGP was announced today: historic GP
