What a sad situation. I feel like a dummy because I didn't realize women were test driving the cars.

Also, what is BargainBob doing in this thread? He doesn't seem to care about F1 and he's certainly not the least bit funny.

I didn't know there were two of them until yesterday when DH mentioned it. I think the other female driver was signed by Williams recently and isn't as experienced as Maria is. You don't usually hear that much about the test drivers unless one of them moves up to a drivers position.

BargainBob thinks he's funny but he really isn't.

The guy who did that is the VP of the FIA and a UAE champion rally driver. I don't think he'd ever been at the wheel of an F1 car. A case of people who have more money than sense.

Oh what a glorious weather we have in Silverstone. Rain and more rain.

This could turn out to be a fun Sunday race if we have so much rain. Lets see what old Herr Schumacher can do and see how much fun we can have on the wets and inters.

OIC. Yeah, they're probably stuck in traffic. The officials are telling people to not try and go to Silverstone as all the parking lots and the campgrounds are now ponds.

on the positive side, most of us lesser beings will have to take a shuttle bus from the expo center or downtown. on the negative side, it's a 3/4 mile walk from the bus drop off to the turn 11 west grandstands, through a flood plain. Austin could be nearly as bad it manages to rain that weekend Hide

maybe it'll scare the CoA people, that might not be a bad thing.
