RETIRED: Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

elec start I presume? teeth missing ? are you sure the starter is fully engaging ? "I" wouldn't consider it hard, just a bit involved. If you took it to a shop. I'm sure it would cost ya. B&S engine ? or Tecumseh ? Tecumseh is out of business... some parts are hard to find. Does it also have a recoil (rope pull) starter ? If it does, you "may" be able to pull it past the broken teeth and then try the elec starter.
Yea, daughters...electric start, teeth missing......she couldn't start it last year, I realized she somehow lost a chunk of the teeth.....for rest of year she used screwdriver to move the wheel and get a good section and was able to keep it going......she had told me it was getting worse, and now she couldn't start it this year.

Went to see it today, all the teeth are wore down and won't catch with the starter......just trying to determine if it's worth messing with or just pick up another "special" along the road when people are selling them.

The kid's real rough on mowers.
