Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle said Andrew S. Chiu of Anaheim, Calif. and Allen J. Chiu of Dallas pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Seattle. They alleged placed more than $23 million in fraudulent orders through Nordstrom.com and Nordstrom paid $1.4 million in rebates and commissions. They used FatWallet, Inc. to receive cash back rewards for their purchases made at Nordstrom.com.
According to the Attorney's Office, "in January 2010, the brothers discovered they could exploit a computer programming error in Nordstrom's ordering system by placing orders that would ultimately be blocked by Nordstrom. No merchandise would ship and nothing would be charged to their credit card. However, Nordstrom would unknowingly continue to compensate FatWallet for the order, and the brothers would still receive the cash back credit from FatWallet."
The Attorney's Office adds that "the error that permitted the continued payment of rebates in the ordering system has since been fixed."
Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of no more than 30 months in jail for the brothers when they're sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ricardo S. Martinez on July 13, 2012.
